Unique flavors and very kind staff! Absolutely delicious as well. Pretty pricy though
Best Ice Cream in LA, variety of flavors and big scoop serving.
Salted Malted chocolate chip cookie dough and Banana bread with Strawberry Jam are their best flavors.
Wow, wow and wow. Went to Salt & Straw for the second time ever, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The flavours on offer were so delicious, and I wish I could live in this place. Huge shout out to Kelly, who served us and was SO kind and smiley and just truly made my day. I will be back with haste.
Had a great ice cream tonight & Kelly was the best server I’ve ever had - so friendly.
Really sick of this chain stealing all the business from incredible mom-and-pop shops around LA — go to local shops. Salt & Straw has opened directly next to every single local ice cream shop in LA to take their business and it’s just not cool.
Way too sweet, Pazzo Gelato next door is much nicer!
My outie prefers two scoops of ice cream in a serving, but they must be in the same flavor.
The best! Welcome to the neighborhood! Finally I don't have to drive to the valley. So nice to get ice cream in a CLEAN establishment with NICE staff. LOVE LOVE

Salt & Straw is an ice cream shop nestled on the iconic Sunset Blvd, in Silver Lake section of LA. This Orgeon based ice cream shop has a modest selection of handmade ice cream flavors. I rarely eat ice cream but today I was compelled due to 90 degree weather. I came and was given a perfunctory melancholic greeting by a young female staff. It was my first time tasting this brand of ice cream; I had a scoop of Coffee & Love Nuts flavor over a waffle cone which cost $8.15 bucks. Its texture was thicc, flavorful and very sweet. I had to drink water afterwards to ease the sweetness.
Service was on point. Staff needs to improve customer service greeting which was non-existent. Prices are okay. Overall, I liked my ice cream but I had better.

Wow! I'm always on the lookout for new flavors, and this place has that in spades! Talk about crazy flavors, there's nothing vanilla about these. I had marionberry goat cheese habanero; normally I'm not a huge fan of spicy desserts, but those flavors melded perfectly. There are plenty of crazy flavor combinations that you definitely need to sample!

My two friends and I rolled in at 10:00 pm on a Tuesday and Cole took great care of us. Provided excellent service, was very kind and happily provided us with multiple samples when we couldn’t pick a flavor. We love coming here for a little treat after games and other events, and the friendly staff was the cherry on top!

Not many people would be so receptive at 10pm on a Tuesday, but Cole provided such warm service and made our ice cream experience extremely enjoyable!
