Oddest experience. Came here because Reddit said it was good. Food was good, but nothing crazy.
It was the people who were working, they were all rude and acting like us asking for water, was a huge inconvenience. We felt crazy. Anything we asked for, drinks, creamer for coffee, was met with laser eyes or an eye roll. When we were leaving, we over heard a women talking to her husband about how one of the women’s scolded her for not knowing how the wait list worked and how she should know how it works (which for context, was confusing. It was just a random notebook with a pen, and you were just suppose to know to put your name down yourself to be in the list) and I told her the women also was short and angry with us.
The whole staff was upset for some reason. The only other thing kinda weirded me out, was I watch the bartender make out ice coffees, and dig ice cubes out of the freezer with her bare hands, after touching the dirty dishes. I had to pick out a random leaf from my drink.

Overall wasn’t worth the Reddit hype or the wait time (which you don’t get to know because there is no hostess and if you ask someone who works there, they’ll look at you like you’ve said something disturbing)

Incredible breakfast! Quality produce, the griddle cakes one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. Absolutely unreal. Lovely staff, relaxed atmosphere, loved it!

Exceptional hotcakes and friendly service never fails to please.

If you ordered all the breakfast items and rated each, the overall score would be mediocre. You shouldn't do that. Just order the hotcakes. You will thank me.

It's a cute place for breakfast/brunch. Not as crowded for weekend brunch as other location. Solid option for classic breakfast.

Service was quick, accurate, and we had a lovely chat with our server.

Parking is a bit limited since it is street parking. Crap shoot on that.

The sourdough toast was a bit over toasted and oily. Will ask for a dry light toast next time to avoid the burnt bits. The coffee was good, and the eggs were cooked exactly as ordered.

Would return another time to try other menu items.

I wish I could say I enjoyed this place, but the only reason I came was for the pancakes. They were okay, but definitely not as good as they looked. I ordered the typical American breakfast and was surprised to get extremely bright yellow eggs, and the “hashbrowns” came out as deep-fried square patties that didn’t resemble hashbrowns at all. The sausage was just okay. At one point I even found myself questioning whether this was really supposed to be an American breakfast. I paid $35 and walked out unsatisfied.

Best breakfast I’ve had in LA hands down. The Griddle cakes and smoked salmon toast are so damn good. The server was telling me about the locally sourced goods they use and everything they make in-house. Our server Will was awesome. 10/10

If you are looking for a “wonderful” hot coffee(cold); “amazing service” and regular over priced food. This is the place 🙂

We really enjoyed our meal here, the California sourced ingredients were fresh and the dishes were well prepared. It's a nice spot for a casual dinner

Came starving, left full. Spectacular griddle cakes, haven’t had anything like them before.

Biscuits and gravy was a hit especially so when Paired with a couple of coffees and California wine and cider drinks.

We loved the service, food came out hot and quickly. See you again soon! 🤝🥰
