Hi Friends,
Going to give you some tips to know, before you head to Samosa House. I have been going here for the last 6 years. I am finally deciding to never go back. I felt it’s my Duty to let you guys know as well.

1. Staff is slow and disorganized most of the time, it seems like it’s gotten a little better in the last 6 years but not quite. There is no consistency in Customer Service. I have gotten the 3 item combo and waited 10 to 15 minutes for my Roti. My food was cold by the time I got the Roti. This has happened more often till I voiced my concern. I am on lunch and already am limited on time.

2. Some items are marked up .50 cents to a dollar maybe even more. It’s not the same as advertised. They will deny that there is any price changes, when you call it out. They say “oh they have mentioned this to the owner as well and lift their shoulders in confusion. “

3. Last night I grabbed something from the frozen section and half the items were thawed out. I was told a customer perhaps left the door open. That the freezer should start cooling everything soon.

4. I have witnessed the owners being rude and being bossy to the workers in a demeaning way. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect.

5. A lot of the items are not priced. I don’t think it’s my job to have to bring one item at a time to find out the price.

6. They open whenever they please, I waited 30 mins couple of times waiting patiently. There was another man waiting with me as well. He jokingly said they’re running on Indian standard time.
Meaning they open whenever they please . Seriously.

One incident I was going to pay for my items, one of the items was marked up. I told the guy I don’t want it. He said he could not remove the item from the POS because the owner was not there and was not shown how to remove the item so I paid the mark up. I didn’t want to be there longer than I had already been. I had to go back to work.

I feel as a customer we have the right to be able to see the price and it should be that price. Once in a while, something like this happens, that’s fine. This is a consistent six year problem. I had faith. I gave them the benefit of the doubt thinking they’re making improvements. I was told by one of the owners that. He is aware about the problems.
I feel like I’m going to the same place that I did six years ago. I am raising my standards, and I will be taking my time and money where it’s respected . It’s important for customers time and money to be respected and as well as workers to be respected.

Hope this helps you all

Love you all
NiNa 🙏

Avoid this place at all costs. Went in on a Saturday evening with family. We were a group of 5. Food had borderline gone bad. Yogurt on the chats had gone bad and had a funky taste. Chutney for the dosa, same story. Food taste was not good and flavorful for Indian food. Toilets were HORRIBLE. There was pee all over the floor coming out the door. It smelled so bad. The only good thing was the young boy who was at the counter. We wanted to cancel something off our order immediately and he couldn't even remove it as he had no access. I do not recommend this place. We wasted our money here. Very disappointed.

Pretty good food, although I like the food at East a little more. I love that the market is right there though so that is convenient.

Great variety of all Indian delicacy snacks. Chaat pakdi Pani Puri Samosa Chaat, very reasonably priced and good service at the counter, just waited to get directions. It's a must go to place whenever you are visiting it. When is boulevard or the palms? It's just very close to sony picture facility

I'm here mostly to buy groceries. Have been pointing out to the team for innumerable times about prices not being marked on 60-70% of the items being sold here, especially almost none in the freezer section. Am finally escalating my disappointment to be viewed publicly by the owner, since I'm not sure the messages have ever reached you!!

They have the Cadbury candy bars that we don't get. Check it out before you check out. Their samosas are the best. This one almost never has the smoked cauliflower (which is the best dish), but I still get a 3 item with what ever else. Samosa House 2 does have the smoked cauliflower so if that's convenient, it's a little better.
