I work on Larchmont street and I can tell you that this place is completely infested with rats . We can see back of their store every day .....there are hundreds of people buying their bagels that rats walked all over on ....also staff is mainly rude and not helpful. They are also playing favorites so if they don't like you for whatever reasons they will charge you through the roof $18 for a bagel ! Bagels are too mushy and not bagel like . If the sweaty guy up front does likes you he will give you 50% discount. I would NOT recommend this filthy place with sweaty guys and huge attitude. If zero stars were option I'd give it zero as that's what they are.

Highly recommend going at a calm time (ie not when there’s a farmers market across the street). Great bagels, fresh ingredients and good juice too

The bagels are delicious I would highly recommend popping by for a bite. Don’t expect the service to be great it isn’t. But they do get your food to you quickly and it never disappoints. While presentation isn’t a strong point at the end of the day the bagels always hit the spot. I would recommend the Bagel Salad, Turkey Bacon and Avocado club, and the Lemon Pepper Tomato.Vegetarian options: I am vegetarian and have still found great bagels to eat.

Love this place & have been going here for years but I had a bagel there this morning and it tastes like cleaning supplies, specifically the purple Fabuloso scent. This has happened twice in the last three months. :(

Handmade, delicious bagels. Sandwiches are good, great variety of flavors available. Small town feel amidst the bustle of Larchmont

Horrible customer service. Went inside this morning and the guy working didn't even acknowledge the fact that we were ready to order. I greeted him good morning and he ignored my greet. Horrible Won't ever come here.

Came at 11am and bagels were amazing, super soft and not oily. Came another occasion at 2pm and was not as impressed. If you can make it in earlier, it's worth it. Service is fast; no ambiance really bc it's a small hole in the wall, but doesn't matter bc surrounding larchmont village is always poppin and fun. Better alternative to old school Noah's Bagels etc- great quality bagels.

The blt bagel was fantastic but the blueberry one with strawberry cream cheese was a bit bad.

Love Sam's bagels. Every time I visit Bluemercury in Larchmont I pick up a dozen and dole out to friends and family.

I think this place has potential but the bagel I got today was burnt; I couldn’t even eat the top of it because it was so burnt.

As a Brooklyn native with 34 years of bagel experience, I hold high standards for my bagel joints. Sam's Bagels on Larchmont was my latest stop, hoping to find that authentic taste I've been missing.**Pros:**- Generous portions; the bagel was satisfyingly heavy.- Toasted to perfection; they nailed my request.- Overall, a decent lunch experience.**Cons:**1. The bagel lacked integrity, with a crust prone to falling apart.2. The everything bagel missed the mark without the essential large grains of sea salt.3. The smoked whitefish lacked sufficient smokiness and creamy texture.4. Subpar tomatoes and lettuce choices, skimping on red onions.5. The bagel lacked the authentic flavor I crave. While taste is subjective, I've tried various bagel spots in Hollywood, and Hanks in Burbank reigns supreme in emulating the true New York bagel experience. In conclusion, Sam's Bagels on Larchmont didn't quite hit the mark for me. However, I respect their efforts and acknowledge that taste preferences vary. For now, I'll be heading back to Hanks for my bagel fix.

Buzzy classic spot in Larchmont. Delicious spreads notwithstanding, they don't use enough salt in their bagels. Next

I don't know why they don't have 5 stars! Sam's Bagels has been around forever and has consistently been good. Service is always good and fast. All the bagels are baked freshly daily. The size of the bagels are enormous and they give you a tube of cream cheese on top of that. The bagels are just toasted right so the cream cheese doesn't melt. After trying few of the newer places around LA I think Sam's is the best one!

My go-to bagels place in LA. I get bagels by the dozen or more usually, not their sandwiches. Their bagels are the perfect combination of chewy on the inside and the perfect crust on the outside. A very satisfying bite for my money. Much better than the big chain places. Also, their cream cheese is solid. A no frills honest bagel joint. Bonus is the 80s music that often plays.
