This bagel spot is a true hidden gem! Tucked away in a small store, it offers a down-to-earth, authentic bagel experience. Their jumbo-sized bagels are an absolute treat—perfectly chewy on the inside with a crisp exterior. I had the bagel sandwich with egg filling, and it was phenomenal! The portions are generous, and the flavors are so fresh and real. If you’re a fan of classic, no-frills, high-quality bagels, this is the place to go. Highly recommend making the trip!

Manny, who took my orde,r was so sweet. He asked me how my day was going and actually listened to my answer. My Lox spread bagel was on the freshest bagel I have ever had in my life. Absolutely delicious and perfect at that price point. (Ballin on a budget). The coffee was super delicious!! This place is perfect in every way..

Didn’t toast my bagel with cream cheese. You’re a bagel place, you toast the bagel.

Beware with delivery - order is always wrong.
NYer here, the comparisons to NY bagels is ridiculous, nothing close at all.
The bagels are much lighter internally and softer on the outside than any NY bagel is.
With that said, it's not bad. It's like a doughy roll more than a traditional bagel and that's fine. I had a poppy with cream cheese. Bagel is big in size. Much bigger than anything in NY. The cream cheese was more whipped than block and had a slight odd taste for me. I'm being critical here, but honest.
No one was in the store when I went in. What was like NY was speed of service. I've been in some places it takes them minutes to slice a bagel and spread some cream cheese on it. I waited maybe 20 seconds and the price was only $4.30. The guy working this morning could work a NY bagel shop as far as efficiency. The place isn't pretty and that's not a knock on it, just staying the appearance.
As a stand alone review, I'd give it 3.7/5. Comparison to NY bagel, which it doesn't seem like that's the proprietor's goal, it would fall way short. Visit because you want to try their bagels, not because of claims it similar to a NY bagel. No need to compare the two, as a stand alone bagel shop, it's more than enough for a bagel.

Most LA bagels are barely even bagel shaped and would be thrown out in NY. Sam’s is repeatedly the best bagel I’ve had in California. They are doing something right. Close to NY quality.

Chewy and good sized with chive cream cheese. We shared an onion and cheddar and it was just the best afternoon snack. Bagels in general are better than most.
