Great tamales!!! I had the red pork and green spicy chicken, and it didn't disappoint. They sell other varieties of tamales. I would recommend this

1 star because every single tamale tast the exact same as the last beef tast like pork pork tast like chicken it's all because of the sauce...I just get beef and the sweet tamales but hands down best tamales in town because of its sauce...just like Lolitas back in the day

My favorite spot for tamales in ELA. The sweet tamales could use a bit more pineapple chunks inside them, but other than that they are great. From the sweet tamales to the red sauce pork , or the Green sauce pork or Green sauce and cheese, these tamales are the best I've found in a very long time. Highly recommend this place.

Update Feb 2024 Champurrado is super hit or miss and unfortunately today was a miss, it was super watered down, like hot chocolate. I suggest you ask to try it first as I should have.Menudo is really good! I suggest going early because sometimes they run out. The champurrado is good but sometimes too watery.

I pass d by seen a long line one day decided to give it a go, I went with the red and green pork because there wasn't any ready of the rest when said I'll wait was told idk if we will have enough mind you this is 8 a.m. so I took what they had. So if you don't know don't reach in unless you want a hand full of creamy enchilada sauce a whole hand of it some of the tamales were undercooked, I'm always willing to try new places but this was a big let down. Let alone not having what is plastered on the wall which are tamale's the quality of them were veryuch disappointing.

Best tamales in East LA. I now live in Phoenix, but when I visit LA, I stop here first. The green chili cheese are my favorite.
