As always, the food is not bad but the customer service at the front desk was awful! They were playing on their phones and lacking any sort of customer service. I use to love this place, but will no longer be taking my business there

I was excited to try their food as it was my very first visit to this Mitsuwa Marketplace location. I ordered two pieces of shrimp tempura and four pieces of inari sushi. The total check should have been less than $14. The elderly lady at the register apparently did not know how to operate the point-of-sale system and charged my credit card $19.50! No way, José! She seemed flustered and couldn't correct the order in a timely manner, so I asked for a refund and left hungry. Needless to say, I won't be back.

Sad to say, this restaurant still uses styrofoam containers and plates. Very environmentally unfriendly. All restaurants should use environmentally friendly items, imho. Food itself was ok.

This is a great little spot, amongst other great spots. Spots. But this is an excellent udon noodle soup. The service was awesome. And you can't beat the price.

Tried Sanuki and went for the chicken udon noodles, which turned out to be pretty good. The dish wasn't overly salty, and the denser noodles were a pleasant surprise. The parking lot was ample, conveniently located inside the Mitsuwa shopping center. It's a seat-yourself setup, and ordering is done at a window. Overall, a satisfying udon experience with a convenient and straightforward dining process.

I love the food here but service was really bad. On my last visit, I had asked if I could get beef bowl but placed it in their curry rice to go container as I can't use styrofoam. The cashier said yes. After I paid, she gave me in styrofoam container and told me she couldn't put it in curry rice container (non styrofoam). I had to throw away the food. If she would say she couldn't do it from the beginning, I'd order curry rice instead. We live in Simi Valley and drove for almost 2 hours (405 traffic) just to get their food. Never would I return to this Sanuki branch. Very disappointing

I have never seen or tasted curry udon like this. The Japanese lady at the reception said this was regular curry udon, but was it really Japanese?

I got the cold udon dip noodle with a side of kakiage. The kakiage look a bit sad and small on first look, but it does taste authentic. The cold noodle is $6, with kakiage it is $8.95.I highly suggest you order an extra serving of udon for $2.50

The menu said ordering a regular cold noddles with a small rice bowl to get a discount of 75 cents off. However, the cashier didn’t give the discount until I asked. Also, that’s a take-out order. They forgot the dipping sauce for the cold noddles. That took me extra trip to drive back to Mitsuwa for the dipping sauce. Both the staff didn’t apology for their mistake and the trouble they brought to me. They just handed me the sauce without saying anything.Their service today is neither professional nor satisfying.

Udon with shrimp and potato croquettes were ok, but wouldn’t order again. Would definitely try again and try other dishes. Prices are very good though!

Udon quality changes, broth is super salty, sansai vegetables salty and overall quality is not consistent. Been coming here many years but not after today, dumped out my lunch:( Cooks/Chef doesn't seem to like their job, horrible food.

Amazing food! However the service was not as great. The teens running the front counter were relatively rude and seemed to treat everyone like they were fed up with their questions or orders. It is still so worth trying though. Love this place!
