Had an after matinee dinner here with my parents. Charming spot with high ceilings and open spaces. Cute patio in the back. Food & drinks were interesting and tasty... Except the lobster roll, was a disappointment. Slathered with way too much mayo & dill completely overpowered the stingy portion of lobster.

Oh my god this place looks cool, would’ve loved to see how bustling it was pre-COVID. Food was delicious and the vibe was immaculate. The paper plates and plastic utensils reminded me of school, very nostalgic and fun. Overall, this place is worth seeing and eating at with friends. Especially just to see how the menu changes! One of the most memorable spots on Sunset for sure.

This place is lacks good service and for the price I'd expect a nice experience. It's a cute vibe but the waitress was so rude and she didn't even have to take orders since it's all online. The oysters are $36 and tasted awful. Definitely not coming back.

It's 2020 and Joe Biden won, you gotta stop being so discriminated against on people of color. We love Sawyer and it's so sad they we can no longer come back here for the foods. We don't hate on the manger Jordan, we just feel sorry for people like him. He had an option to be nice but he chooses not to. I forgave you Jordan, I believe you will learn someday! Have a nice day!

I can't imagine being SO HUMILIATED and OFFENDED at my fav spot in LA (not anymore). The "so-called" manager JORDAN was so rude when we first stepped in. We were forced to leave our seats inside the restaurant to a table that they just set up on the sidewalk with other "colored" customers. My friend asked for the reason, decently, but he got yelled at directly into his face by "manager" JORDAN. He got all CRAZY and shooed us out when we tried to confront him. Tbh, a nice business has been RUINED by a RACIST. This is THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, THE YEAR IS 2020, WE SHOULD BE STEPPING FORWARD NOT THE OTHER DIRECTION.

I came here today and were told to sit in the backyard area. My friends showed up later and they got super weird and asked us to move to the sidewalk area. We got out there and realized that they tried to put people of color out on the sidewalk tables and only white people inside. My friend came in and tried to figure it out and Jordan (the manager) said if we don't wanna sit there, just leave. He started yelling and refused to serve us. I'll never come back here and don't recommend this place because we just experienced real racism right after the election.

First of all, I want to say this has been my favorite spot in Los Angeles for the longest time. This morning I brought my closest friends to show off, supposedly, my favorite place but well, I was dreadly disappponted. Apparently there were so many spots in the back of the restaurant, which had a nicer view, but the staff insisted on seating us on the sidewalk WITH MY "FELLOW ASIAN PEOPLE". Um, should I be sorry I am Asian and should I be treated differently, less than a person, ONLY BECAUSE I AM ASIAN? I definitely was trying to talk in the politest way with the staff but he straight-up showed attitude as soon as we laid foot at the door. Honestly, I teared-up a little bit. I really don't appreciate the way this staff made me feel about my own race, how he made me feel less than I am. How could such racism and discrimination take place in a diversed place like CENTRAL LOS ANGELES like this. This was the staff we met this morning and, sorry but, despite how good the food was last times I was here, I am not coming back to take anything like this again anymore.

Place was super nice. Loved the awesome vibes. Food was okay. Nothing to rave about. Selection was limited. Due to covid perhaps. Would maybe return

Oysters were okay, bottle of rose was necessary, outdoor patio was relaxing. I would come here again for the vibes. I love their outdoor seating. Indoor is also nice. Service is quick and pleasant
