This placed popped up on too good to go so I thought I would try it. The staff was so nice and we got so much food! The little cheese danishes we got are sooo good! And the mini challah, delicious. So glad I found this place!

I've been to the Pico location and this Beverly location and was served old, dry, heavily artificial-tasting pastries at both locations. There is no way the pastries were "baked fresh today" as I was told, and I highly suspect some of these pastries were baked from commercial mixes, likely baked at a central commissary days or weeks in advance or provided by a third-party vendor. I'm truly disappointed by the quality of their baked goods and with Diamond and other local bakeries closing, I feel like folks might be searching for alternatives. Schwartz is not a good alternative.

Not sure why this place has low ratings! Both the valley village location and the LA location are great! Quality items,tasty bread and reasonable prices for kosher food.They are nice and attentive and the pastries are very yummy.My favorite thing they have is their challah bread which is a large rolled bread kind of in a knot! I think they are super tasty! One of my favorite bakeries and they are kosher

The pricing tripped me up. There weren't any labels in front of the cookies so I had to ask how much for every cookie. A lil pricey but good if you're in a time

THIS IS FOR THE VALLEY VILLAGE LOCATION (doesn't have a page on Yelp). Went here for the first time through TooGoodtoGo where for $6 plus tax you are supposed to get $18 worth of food. I chose to try it out once since reviews have said that there is a great amount of food however I received 2 loaves of bread. A loaf of wheat bread unsliced and a round sourdough bread. Thought by going on Friday they would have been generous since it appeared they had 5 bags available and only 1 was ordered (me!). That said it nearly made the retail value when I went on their website: $9.95 for sourdough bread and $7.95 for wheat bread=$17.90. Tasted both breads. Not bad not worth making a special trip for. First and last time going to this bakery. No parking lot. There's meters on Burbank but plenty of free parking by the apartments off Burbank if you don't mind a short walk.

Tuesday morning, an hour after opening, and no one to greet me upon arrival. Waited awhile, calling hello? Came for treats for a special event so I was willing to wait- about 6 minutes, finally she comes out and everything we bought was Worth The Wait! Kechel, cookies, cake! Did not disappoint!
