Came here for dessert after trying Red Rock next door. Plenty of parking in the lot, but the place was small and no tables. I got the kid scoop of the brown bread flavor and it was bigger than I thought. The ice cream was delicious, I can't really describe the flavor it was like a creamy cinnamon flavor. Overall, I would come back again if I'm in the area.

This ice cream is soooo good! The pandan coffee is something else!!! Horchata peanut brittle is delicious!!! Definitely coming back. Really great flavors. The guava passionfruit sorbet was sooo lovely. We went home with two pints. They are closed Monday-Thursday but open Fri, Sat, Sun. Well worth the weekend wait!

I've been meaning to try this ice cream shop for the longest time but the past few times I've gone, they were closed. Luckily after the third time, I was able come in right before closing. They usually rotate different flavors, but keep their most popular flavors. I got to sample the brown brown bread and the raspberry honey yuzu sorbet. The brown brown bread is like a milk and cereal flavor and the raspberry honey yuzu was really refreshing and kind of reminded me of a smoothie. I ended up going for a kids scoop of the brown brown bread. A kid's scoop was still really big and you can also get a free ice cream cone! The employee that was helping us was really patient and super helpful in helping us decide which flavors to try! I asked them why they sometimes close in the middle of the day and he shared that if it's too slow, they will sometimes close up early. It really made me sad to hear because their ice creams are so delicious and more people definitely need to know about it! They're located right next to red rock in the plaza with Nijiya. If you're looking for a good ice cream spot to try, definitely hit up Scoops! It's a small shop and there aren't any seats in doors but you can take your ice cream and walk around Nijiya right next door.

It’s a nice and cozy place . Tiny space for seating. Girl is doing fantastic and friendly service. They have limited flavours and they have different varieties than others . Tasted good and they have offer going on . We tried couple them and choose the cookies and cream , maple one and strawberry along with brown bread . If you select the single scoop then you can choose three different flavours

Scoops! Oh, how I have missed you!!! This is the same Scoops that used to be near LACC on Heliotrope, right? There was also one down the street from me when I lived in West LA. Imagine my surprise when I did a random search for vegan ice cream and found a Scoops in Torrance, located in the same shopping center as Nijiya. We walked in and was greeted by the friendliest gal who was super helpful. She let me sample the two non-dairy options that were available that day and both flavors blew me away. So I got them both in a kid scoop size. The Guava Passion Sorbet had that tropical fruity goodness. The Peanut Butter Horchata Burnt Sugar hits all those bold nutty and cinnamon flavors in an oat milk base. Yummy! Here's where it gets a bit sad. After we expressed our excitement to find a Scoops in Torrance, the gal working informed us that their lease is up at the end of this year and the owners are looking to close this location even earlier than that :( So, I guess this means I need to visit Scoops Torrance as many times as I can before they close up shop. I'm super jealous that Chinatown and Highland Park still get to enjoy Scoops. If the owners are reading this, please consider Long Beach :) Linking my reviews to the OG and Palms locations for reference: - OG location - Palms location

I have kept this to myself for a long time, but I think it's best to share with everyone in the community and help promote their business! This hole in a wall ice cream shop is located next to the Nijiya market, it honestly didn't catch my eye however after coming to Nijiya I noticed that there was an ice cream shop! They offer unique flavors like brown bread, Hong Kong milk tea, and cookie butter Oreo. It's more like what everyone likes but turned into ice cream. Their brown bread is definitely a hit! Everytime I try to go back, they're always sold out of it. When someone asks me where is a good dessert to try, I recommend them scoops for their flavors.

This spot is legitttttttt. Not gonna lie, I didn't know they were a big deal, but after getting some ramen one night with my friends, we chose to check this place out to satisfy our sweet tooth (sweet teeth?). The space is no-frills and immediately beckons you to the window to see the array of ice cream flavors to choose from. The flavors were amazingly unique, and so good. Definitely a special spot worth supporting! The service was amazing, with cheerful people behind the counters. Check it out!

Stopped by Scoops after dinner on a weekday night and had a great experience! We were able to find parking pretty easily since it is located in a plaza. When we walked in, there were several people inside already. We saw the prices posted on the wall and then took a look at the flavors that were available. The Matcha Oreo and Cookie Butter Oreo flavors both sounded really good, so we chose both of those. I was worried that it'd be too much Oreo flavor, but it ended up being perfect! I thoroughly enjoyed both flavors and would honestly order both again. I can definitely see why it was so crowded. Great ice cream and I'd definitely recommend giving it a try! Hope to stop by again in the future when I'm in the area!

Came here yesterday for some dessert with my husband. We came around 7ish since we had an early dinner and there was a small family there before us. The lady allowed us to try their flavors and we were pleasantly surprised. It was our first time so we were excited to try all the flavor combos. We ended up picking Scoops Brown Brown Bread flavor to share in a single size which was more than enough. (Next time I'll ask to get the kids size) The flavors rotate but I'm not sure how often but you can see old sticker flavor labels they post on a wall. Our single scoop came out to be 6.50 which seems pricey but it was worth it since you get enough to share with someone and you're definitely paying for their great homemade ice cream.

Quick service and friendly workers! Lots of good flavors and soft, not too sweet ice cream. Decent price for the options! Definitely would come back :)

Stopped by at Scoops after having dinner at Sushi Island nearby. I got the Brown Brown Bread, kids got Coconut Basil & the hubs got Horchata Burnt Sugar. Service was quick and super friendly. The store is small, and there's not much seating. But we were lucky to snag a seat. My daughter kept dropping her spoon and I was super embarrassed to ask for another one. But Jonathan assured me that it was not a problem. Our whole family loves Scoops and can't wait to go back :)

The asian guy working there yesterday around 5pm was so rude. All 5 of us were craving ice cream, so we decided to come here for their brown bread ice cream. It was everyone first time beside me. They started to sample their selections (which was very limited). I can already see the guy getting annoyed because the kids kept trying samples until they found something they liked. My niece got mango after 2 samples. My nephew tried a few more samples because he used to plan chocolate ice cream. However, they had chocolate with alcohol (so he couldn't have that) and salted chocolate brownie. He didn't like it, so he asked to try bread oreo and chose oreo ice cream. As my son was eating his ice cream, he got some on his clothes. As I'm cleaning his jacket with the napkin, the guy working there said ugh yea there no dine-in, you guys must eat outside." I replied, "Ugh, yes, I could see that your benches are stacked up on top of each other. Like, what do you honestly think we gonna do? Stand here and stare at you while all 5 of us eat our ice cream." Then he said "well then do you need anything else?" I quickly replied, "I'm cleaning my son, and we do not intend to stay here." He quickly walked towards the desk to sit down to watch his movie. You lost us as a customer. Sadly to say,but I'm never coming back to this location.
