Our #1 choice for soontofu on the Westside. Everything just tastes right to me from spice level to banchan to meat quality.

Tasty food and well kept restaurant! We came on Easter Sunday and it was busy, but the service was great. Just a heads up, there is no restroom available for customer use, but you can use one across the street at Hmart.

I live about 5 minutes from Sawtelle and Seoul House of Tofu is where I go when I am looking for quick and decent soon dubu without making a trek out to Ktown. When it comes to parking, the lot can be a bit of a nightmare due to the busy Sawtelle location, so I like going during the weekday when it's not so crazypants there. Walking in, the restaurant itself is chill. The food comes out quickly and the portions are generous enough. The quality of the food is also good, standard. I wouldn't say it's the best, most fantastic place, but it'll satisfy my cravings! The service is good and it's usually easy to find a seat, even when it's busy. The thing about Korean food on the westside is that it is freaking pricey!!! We ordered the pajeon (Korean pancake) and a galbi/soondubu combo. The pajeon was $17 (insane to me) and the combo meal was $30.. but HEY, they know there's a demand for it on the westside and can get away with those prices! My favorite part about dining on Sawtelle though is after my meal, I usually treat myself to some boba, ice cream, or egg pancakes (all of which are sold in the neighboring businesses). Despite the high prices and high-traffic area, I will likely come back to this restaurant many many times.

This place scratches the itch but unfortunately does not hit the spot for soondubu. The flavor and quality of the soup is just not on the level of a k-town soondubu house. The dolsot bibimbap was pretty good but it's hard to mess up bibimbap. Banchan consisted of fishcake (delicious), bean sprouts, broccoli, kimchi, and potato salad. Service was good at 5pm when it wasn't too busy. Overall would rather go to k-town for good soondubu though!

I have had the pleasure of dining at numerous Korean restaurants, and I can confidently state that this establishment is the finest among them. The culinary offerings are characterized by an exceptional depth of flavor. I particularly recommend the beef tofu, as the soup possesses an extraordinary taste. The bulgogi and galbi are also highly commendable for their exquisite flavors. The condiments provided are of exceptional quality, offering a delightful combination of freshness and palatability. I found them so enjoyable that I requested multiple refills. The service provided by the staff is exemplary, characterized by both speed and attentiveness. The establishment maintains an immaculate level of cleanliness, as evidenced by its well-deserved "A" rating. While the restaurant's parking lot is somewhat limited in size and experiences a high volume of traffic, I suggest utilizing the available street parking. If you find yourself in the vicinity, I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. It will undoubtedly become my preferred destination for Korean cuisine whenever I am in the area. My compliments to the chef and kitchen staff for their exceptional culinary expertise.

Came here to eat on a Saturday night. Thought we would be waiting a while, but it took ~30 mins to get seated. Service is good and efficient: We were in and out in a just over an hour (wait included!) As for the food, there's nothing standout about their soondubu, but it definitely scratches the itch and was a good meal all around.

Am-aaa-zing umami-laden sumptuous yum. Rec the Jap Chae/Beef (glass noodles+), BBQ Galbi (sparerib slices), and soup Dumpling Beef. We had the drink Soju Cocktail and felt it from the second sip, till long after return home. Fabulous service, efficient, professional, pleasant. The more toasted we got, the more we dug the ambiance music. Can't wait till we return.

Food was good and ambience is lovely. I recommend this place for Korean in the west side rather driving to k town or garden

I haven't been here in months becuase the last time I was here the quality felt a little downgraded, but this time I thought the food was so good. I asked for the soondubu to be spicy and it was manageable and really savory. The bibimbap never disappointed me and it's so filling. I think it's worth the price I will be coming back again more often!
