Had Asian fusion Tacos at a place in Portland called Koi Fusion which is amazing. Entered that search and came up with this place in LA. The tacos- jack fruit- nailed it. A little pricy but having gone thru a plant based pricing class in culinary school I get it. BUT- I checked curbside pickup because i have a fussy dog with me. I waited. And waited. They looked at me. I looked at them. They walked away. They laughed. I had already received the text that the order was ready. The place was empty. I finally went in and finally a guy looked at me. I asked if i was in the right place for curbside pickup. I pointed to my car- which was described in the order form. He said i guess you can park anywhere. I told him well i parked right in front for curbside. He said oh that's only if the guy has the time. Again. The place was empty. They were standing around. I pointed to my "curbside" tacos in the bag next to him and asked if i might have them now that i was inside. THAT confused him. I dunno- just be a grown up- be polite. Maybe i got them on a bad day. Lots of good service reviews on here. But if it wasn't for nailing the tacos there is NO WAY I would be coming back. I don't normally leave reviews, but I see the owner is actually on here and I appreciate that. Again: KILLER TACOS! ❤️

So we stopped in here for lunch when Electric Karma was closed during their business hours (???). The menu looked pretty good and there were some interesting vegan options. We had the dolsot (hot stone) bibimbap w/vegan bulgogi jackfruit. The food was tasty, but the portions could have been larger. It would have been better if the bowl were hotter, they had put the rice in and waited before serving. This way the rice has a chance to get crispy. Service was good, but the volume of the music was pretty loud. Apparently only the owner has the ability to turn the music down, as this was the reason given when we asked to lower the volume. There's a place next door, but we didn't walk that far to see what it was all about. Maybe the prices are lower and the food is different? Maybe we'll check it out next time.
Delicious!!! The gluten free chicken bowl was so good and did not gluten bomb us! Celiac safe!
Dietary restrictions: Celiac friendly!

Got the bulgogi avocado bowl. Delicious flavorful and the pickles gave it a nice crisp pop to the meal!!

Extremely overpriced for objectively just bad food. I’ve had airport food that cost less and tastes better. Nothing about it had a Korean flavor. Every element tasted bad - overcooked, low quality, paired badly together. Could forgive if it cost half the price but it was unfortunately very expensive (over $25 for a single take out bowl - pick up/no delivery fee). Won’t be returning.

Service was super nice and helpful with ordering for a first time visit. Chicken bulgogi bowl was delicious. Really appreciate the fresh ingredients and their beer selection (canned) was solid. Definitely will be visiting again.

Seoulmates is AMAZING!! Literally 10/10
I’ve seen it driving by so many times & I’m so happy I finally stopped by & tried it!!
First of all, Christina at the front was so nice and helpful!
Secondly, the FOOD. If you are a foodie & love Asian fusion, then Seoulmates is your next stop. It immediately took me to flavor town & is so clearly made with love. You can really taste it in every bite.
The ambiance is such a cute vibe & I’m so excited to try what else they have. I saw some dumplings heading to a table outside & I need to try them ASAP 👀
The bowl was perfect as my post workout protein. I really can’t wait to come back 🤩🥰

Restaurantji Recommends
Thrilled that I tried this incredible spot in WeHo! I loved every dish I tried, it was all really reasonably priced and delicious.
They had the friendliest team and a very unique menu. I tried the Korean fried chicken tacos, jackfruit Kimpbap, Peach Soju, corn and cheese. It was incredible, the flavors melted in my mouth and it was the perfect fusion of flavors. I’ll be coming back over and over again for an exceptional series of dishes with twists of my favorite classic dishes and really awesome staff! Couldn’t recommend this place enough.
