Really like their food! The area around is just a little trashy. They have a great selection and service is good too. The group I went with really enjoyed it.

This is the LAST place you want to come too. Prices are though the roof and every single time I come to purchase the same item I get charged a different price. Service is terrible and the quality of food is gross. Do not come here.

This place is awful. I just in for some lotto and waited over 10 mins while she went back to make the food for others even though she has help. Doesn't wash her hands. Instead she recycled plastic gloves that she puts off to the side after she touches cash and filthy credit cards.

Very inconsiderate rude mean with her employees!! Again RUDE ASIAN LADY!! Will not recommend this place to anyone, the food was discussing plain and it tasted like if it was weeks old.

Every time I have gone to Serrano's Cafe I tell myself to never go back again. Every experience I have had there has been BAD! The place is always dirty and one time I saw a roach running across the counter. Today I went to pick up a breakfast sandwich in the morning and first of all, I was the first client there and two people walked in a few minutes after me (two Korean women). The owner served the food to the other two ladies before me and when I asked her if my food was almost ready she asked me, "what did you order again?".. So I waited for my food and when I got back to the office and took a bite, I instantly got a sour taste in my mouth. I smelled it and realized something was rotten. I took it back to her and she denied anything being wrong with the food.I was trying to be nice and i whispered it to her so that other clients wouldn't hear what I said, but the owner started getting loud. She started to say I was lying and that I just need to be quiet and eat the food. She even tried to say that I was the problem. I told her to taste the food so that she can see that I was not lying and she patronized me and took a bite and said, "MMM, SOOO GOOD!!". I even got a stomach ache shortly after taking a bite from this food and I had to go home early from work. Even the cook behind her was shaking her head in agreement with me when I said the food was rotten. (She did it behind the owner's back and made a face as to say, "I know" and she looked scared of her). I simply asked for a refund and the owner literally turned her head so that she wouldn't have to look at me. The food was definitely rotten and the customer service was horrible, I feel that it was a waste of money and time, and not to mention that the owner favored the other ladies for being Korean too. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. THE FOOD IS ROTTEN!!

The lady who works here is extremely rude and she sells rotten food. She sold me a bagel w rotten cream cheese. She also treats her employees with no respect and degrades them in front of customers. Avoid this place. Just go to Starbucks across the street.

The lady that works here is the most miserable old lady I've ever met. She is unbelievably rude. I'm not sure who told her it would be a good idea for her to go into the restaurant and customer service business. Anyway, this lady basically robbed me of $7.00, which is already too much for her crappy sandwiches. So, after waiting over 20 minutes for a sandwich, I finally take a bite out of it and its sour!!!! Disgusting, the tuna or mayo must have been expired or something because I nearly puked. I asked for my money back and this old lady said no and yelled at me to leave. This lady is crazy. She didn't give me my money back and I had no lunch. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. THIS LADY DOES NOT DESERVE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.

This place is located in a busy area of K-Town, tucked away and somewhat hidden from the hubbub. As others have described, they have a lot of snacks and drinks - it feels a bit like a gas station mini-mart. They also have sandwiches, which are surprisingly good. I got the American Sub Combo, which came with potato salad (only $6.99). Overall I would give the place 3 stars, but I'm adding a 4th star because the service was so friendly and polite. The woman at the counter asked me how my day was, and said "Happy New Year" (I was there on 1/4). She was very kind and I was pleasantly surprised after other reviews complained of rude service. Maybe that person is no longer at the store. Anyway, I'll definitely be back. I'm thinking this place will be a great alternative to the huge lines at Subway around the corner.
