It was little too loud and my pasta was over cooked. Otherwise it was very nice ambiance and service.

I thought it was just going to be typical bar fare during happy hour, with a gorgeous view. I was pleasantly surprised. Their sliders, bruschetta, eggplant balls, polenta and mussels were so tasty. I got so much value out of our visit. Our server Diego was wonderful as well. I originally heard about Settecento from Instagram, and now that I know it deserves the hype, I am excited to bring friends and loved ones! Such a fun place. Good food, great vibes, killer view.

Had lunch interview with strategic candidate. I had great confidence Settecento DTLA would be a great place to meet -- impress the candidate, provide setting where we could have a good conversation. Our waiter was great -- helpful, but not at all intrusive. Overall outstanding experience and I look forward to returning (and hiring this candidate!!!).

My date and I had a dinner reservation at this place on a Tuesday night. The host sat us right away when we arrived. The service went down hill from there. Not one waiter came to our table for water or to take our order until we flagged someone down. The waiter we flagged down (even he seemed confused on who would serve our table) was okay - he gave us the bare minimum service, no type of friendliness or conversation, which is okay, but in the service industry, at least pretend you're happy to help us. Service was the worst part of the experience at this place. The best parts were the ambiance and the food. We sat outside and it was nicely appointed and beautiful. It's nice to find these outdoor gems in downtown Los Angeles. My date and I enjoyed sitting outside, they have patio heaters so it was not cold for my date. The food (we ordered the fried calamari, lamb parpadelle, and mushroom pizza) were all top notch delicious!! Every dish was so tasty, no notes on the food lol. Well, one note, the pasta could've been a bit more - it was a fancy place portion if you know what I mean. I would gamble to come back once more because of the delicious food and see if the service was any better.

We called three times for hot water and the heater because we were seated on the patio. We waited 15 minutes before the issue was addressed, and I got sick the next day. The server did not clear empty plates until we asked and provided only three dessert spoons when there were four of us. The service was poorly executed, especially considering the restaurant was not busy at the time.

lovely area outside for dining downtown, We enjoyed the menu (especially the branzino) and our server was spot on with timing! Highly recommend this restaurant and it's convenience to the public library.

I really enjoyed this place. The food was delicious, our waitor was JD or DJ (dont remember exactly, sorry) and he was such a sweetheart (he even put an umbrella for us when the sun came out). The area is amazing. We got pretty good seating on the balcony with the view to the park area. There are patio seats, in the little park seats and inside. Very interesting atmosphere. Really enjoyed my Birthday time and will definitely come back to this place! Make reservations!

Great food and experience! Right in the middle of financial district in front of the Library. Ambience was very nice and romantic. Came here for a date night and it did not dissapoint! Will definitely come back!

Great Italian restaurant. Food was a 4. Juts don't sit in the back patio by the common area. Seems to be where smokers go and it's enough to ruin things.

The food was quite good and I realize it's an Italian restaurant, however, their lunch menu is ONLY pizza and pasta. I could not find an entree salad or a dish that was not completely carb heavy. Who wants to eat a plate full of carbs if they're head back to the office? Just ONE entree that isn't bread/pasta is so important. My guests had two appetizers (soup and salad) out of necessity.

This is my favorite DTLA restaurant currently. This is the third time we have been - sat at the bar - had drinks and dinner. We have also sat outside when the weather was warmer. “Blame it on the Aperol” cocktail was too good, I could drink 5 of them. The bread is addictive - dipped in olive oil and salt OMG. Love the Aglio Olio Pasta - very Roman. Pizza is top notch, excellent sauce and crust. The farro salad is fresh tasting and vegan - could be a meal with the bread. The space is beautiful- very creative decor. Service was great.

What used to be a little restaurant has grown up! Wonderful outdoor setting is available in good weather. The interior is interesting and enticing with lots of light. The prix fix lunch was a good value, with lots of upgrade options. I had the zucchini pasta, which really was great. What ever sauce they're using with their Caprese was excellent. Really creative and interesting cocktails, and a waiter to discuss them with. I met a friend there. She and I worked in the building across Flower St from the restaurant so it was fun to be back in the neighborhood. Be sure and get parking validation, it adds an extra $25 to the budget.

No 9:30 Reservations The hotel I'm staying at recommend this restaurant, after looking at the menu I was immediately excited. I hopped on open table and made a reservation for 9:30, (I underestimated the time it took to walk) I show up at the restaurant at 9:36 the hostess informed me that the kitchen was closing in 5 minutes. I found this very odd seeing as they accepted reservations until 9:45. I was disappointed by the poor communication on their part, either edit your reservation times on the platforms you opt in for or call someone to inform them that the reservation would not be able to be accepted that night and reschedule for a later date or something?!?! Then since I could not cancel my reservation and they didn't cancel it either it prevented me from making other reservations on the app. I do plan on returning and hopefully starting things off on a better note, communication and consideration are everything.

It's quite frankly the perfect restaurant. Our server was exceptionally engaging and accommodating. The cocktails were exquisitely executed. Simply marvelous

The atmosphere and ambiance was impeccable for an Al Fresco Dining destination. Our wait staff was warm, informational and funny. The drinks were well mixed and curated. The courses of food were great portions and each course layered to the next and we left satisfied and longing to come back. Great job.
