It was a great experience. The food was very good. The service was OK. Make sure they explain the procedure as some of the staff are not clear about how to pick your food in your meats. All in all it was a great evening.

Unlimited shabu shabu is yummy for 30 bucks.. always full so I suggest having a reservation. Outside dining only. Free bottled water. Both self parking and valet is available. The soup has msg. I am sensitive to msg so I can tell. Unless the owner say that there isn't then I will agree. Yummy! I highly suggest

Still my favorite shabu place.

This place used to be SO bomb. I usually send everyone here. Went last night and it was not the same. They stopped serving fresh ramen. That's the biggest thing!! Down graded to some cheap dry stuff. The broth had 0 flavor, obviously putting stuff in it helps but we had to drown our broth with soy sauce. Felt like we were eating soy sauce soup. The meat was all low quality. It was really tough and just didn't taste right. After years of coming here, I will never come back, and I will not be recommending ever again. Sad.

I'm so excited to go back. It was literally all delicious. The attendants kept the buffet very clean and well stocked. Later, I messed up my broth with something I didn't like and it was no problem to start a new broth, so there's no pressure if you want to try something new. 10/10 would recommend

Went with a large group of coworkers for lunch more than once.

However this one time one of the workers who's a Korean with short blond hair gave us attitude when we were buying macaroons as dessert. One of my coworkers asked her a question and she seemed offended by the question. I guess they don't treat you well if you're brown/Hispanic. This was some time ago so I hope she got fired or left.

Other than that the food was good and the ambience is great.

Can't believe I ate a soaked to soft fly🪰 then got discriminated and bullied by the host guy on 8pm October 1st...

Host guy who wore black and be a little bigger than average said only when I ate for 20 min/ I didn't eat at all just wanna leave he would consider a refund which implied its not a good timing to find a fly/ I just wanna find an excuse to leave?

But "I already ate 50 min then saw fly then talk to him then it's 80min already that's a full meal."

Whether he got me refund or not talking nonsense was a bad idea. What's worse was when it came to refund/ half refund he dumped all the excuses and lies. But. Once I said "I ate less than hour how do you know I ate 60 min did you calculate?" he thought he caught me on English wording then excitedly came up with

"what do you mean by calculating i don't calculate the computer shows the time I don't think you know what I'm saying...

I said "calculating or counting whatever it is less than 1 hour before that fly.

he continued to argue for like 3 min "I don't think you understand. I don't need to calculate. It's a computer. It just shown here. calculating is I need to... do something..."

Aren't you getting too much used to those bullying and discriminating things?? Don't know how many times he received and learned bully from others. Sad for him

Anyway almost I finished seafood plate then found a dead fly plus 50min r not enough for any refund

(he added he didn't accept one person he was doing a favor to accept me came by myself. But when I called him he said one person is ok cause they were not busy by then and I actually been refused by them 2 years ago for coming by one person and wasted Uber fee

...Anyway all lies came naturally and his boss kept speaking intensely in Korean to him made him feel get backup so hes speaking intensely too lol

Stopped here for lunch after finding out the Alhambra location was temporarily closed. Surprised by valet parking but it was only $2. It appeared to be under construction with a nice patio…it should look better after their renovations.

We were promptly seated upon arriving. Quick turn around on getting our soups and drinks. Large option for vegetarians as well as meat eaters. Overall great experience.

Side note, the bathroom appeared clean but there were tagging on the trash can and bathroom stall. No attempts to hide or cover it up.
