The fact that this restaurant now has its clients exclusively ordering from the screen themselves, essentially doing the cashier's job, and then asking for a 15 to 30 percent tip is straight up insulting, to customers and employees.I used to really enjoy the interpersonal experience of Shake Shack. Now it just feels like I'm always at the airport, with airport service and airport prices.This change makes me sad and I will frequent Shake Shack much less now. Everything about this feels souless and predatory.

As is becoming more typical, ordering done at a kiosk. Ordered a hot dog... no options for any add-ons or condiments a d no condiments available for self serve. Asked an employee for some condiments, but none were ever brought out. Typical fast food atmosphere, nothing special but acceptably clean.

I’ll put aside the paradox of Shake Shack, in that it’s quite delicious, but eye-wateringly overpriced. That being said, this location is surprisingly clean and well maintained, given its location in the heart of a downtown area. They encourage ordering at the digital kiosks or via their app, but the staff is still approachable if you need anything. This last time I came the burger was great, the fries were well done (at my request) to perfection, and it was overall a pleasant lunch stop.Vegetarian options: They have the shroom burger and I believe another type of veggie burger.

I am a fan of Shake Shack and always make a point to stop in when I am in the US. There has been some changes since my last visit, at this store anyway. Other than the major price hike, the service platform is now entirely on the customer, you don't have the option for human service but the computer still has the hide to ask you for a minimum 15% tip when even it didn't do the work. Group tip I hear you say? Well I can't very well estimate that before I have even received the food. As an Aussie I believe in liveable wages over tipping cultures, but even in the US, this was a new low.
Always actively busy, this place is a go-to for great shakes. And although I don't really care for the food, I love they've an automated system allowing you to place and pay for your order unassisted.

Tried out the veggie burger. Kind of soggy. The shake, nothing to write home about (Bosch notwithstanding). Easy to use ordering system. Kind of hidden in a food court upstairs. Plenty of seating. Took about ten minutes, so fairly fast.Have to hold a number so no “no contact” option.
