Food is good employees are ok, i went to in and i asked about if i could use the bathroom and they laughed at me. I wasn’t unhappy to buy something but it was just so annoying and petty.

To preface this review, I don't really eat on Hollywood Blvd because it's known for being a tourist heavy area with bland, overpriced restaurants. I only came here because I just got out of watching a musical at Pantages Theater late at night and hadn't had dinner. This Shake Shack was very crowded, no doubt many customers there were also coming from Pantages. They had kiosks where we could order from, but it was not user friendly at all. I couldn't figure out why it wasn't letting me check out, so already frustrated, I had to go to the counter and order from there. I've had Shake Shack maybe less than 5 times in my life, but this is the worst Shake Shack I've been to. I'm not sure if other Shake Shacks in Los Angeles do this, but at this location it felt like they really cut corners, and the food is not cheap to begin with. I got one of the lemonades and it was nearly filled to the brim with ice cubes that there was hardly any actual lemonade. The fries were soggy. The burger was kind of small and limited; for being more expensive than In-n-out burger, Shake Shack burger is known for being meatier, but it was not that much better nor was it more filling than In-n-out's. It really feels like a classic Hollywood restaurant where everything is expensive but the effort to produce something that's actually good is just not there.

I asked to warm the food of my baby in the microwave and they told me that they do not accept food from outside... IT'S NIT FOOD FROM THE OUTSIDE! It's that I'm not going to give a burger to my baby... Which is obvious. REALLY BAD AND VERY

Great spot, great burgers, friendly staff, what more could you ask for? It only gets a 4 because sometimes this place is PACKED and that enevitably slows things a bit with everyone working so hard on not only dine in orders, but their delivery apps too! I dont mind it though, my food's always hot n delicious when I get it!

Ok so, its missing a star due to pricing. The food was very good. The burger had a juicy taste and just was great all around. The fries were tasty and not overly salted. However we just got a single smash, fries and a drink and that was just under $20, FOR ONE PERSON!!...FOR FAST FOOD!!! Employees were very courteous and helpful. They had a nice restroom which is kept nice by a code. You order via a kiosk and it can get kinda busy and not a ton of space in the ordering area. While the food was good I definitely wont be coming back due to pricing, thats just crazy. Ill go to a sit down and unlimited fries for that kinda money

Shake Shack has become a bit of a family tradition! The staff is always super friendly and helpful. There's quite a bit of seating inside and outside, but it can be hard to grab a spot if it's busy. I feel like the place is also very well kept and always tidy/clean. They have a lot of options available as far as food substitutes depending on allergies and preference such as gluten free buns, lettuce wrapped options and vegan/veggie burgers. There's also a non-dairy chocolate shake option that I tried yesterday. It was very good, but very rich! Service is quick and efficient. If you're looking for a good smash burger, I highly recommend giving Shake Shack a try!

I did not feel very appreciated when I was asked to leave while being profiled for looking the way I was. I was wearing the same hoodie and jeans I was wearing for maybe 2 weeks straight after getting mobbed and robbed dirty in these gritty streets of LA. Fine, that got nothing to do with Shake Shack, true. but all I did was sit down for copious gulps of water after realizing I was actually truly homeless with no one to call for help and no place to sleep. I was drinking two Redbulls a day so to stay awake at night and ensure that as a woman, I was at least not getting assaulted and kidnapped. my personal possessions and privacy? Oh you can all the way forget about that!!! The person that asked me to leave was the security guard named James. which is so crazy to me, because before I became homeless, he was actually friendly and cool as hell. Idk why his demeanor would have to change when all of a sudden I was experiencing the crazy life changes that I was in LA after a relationship going very wrong and ending up leaving me in the streets of this dangerous city, but it is what it is. I did appreciate the kindness of the other employee named Jay, who knew of my rough acclimation to LA, and the other associate who went by the nickname of "Yoni" at this restaurant, who would occasionally offer a complimentary refill of my lemonade, which was all I could afford during this strange time in my life. I would probably never come back to this restaurant just because of how I was treated during the time I was robbed, but for Jay and Yoni, I just might. Shake Shack was very good. In fact, it was a perfect quick dinner for me and my friends to acquire between disembarking the Metro subway and attending the performance of "Chicago" at The Pantages Theatre that we had tickets for. The food and drinks were great, and the staff was really friendly and incredibly helpful. I would definitely go there again. My one slight complaint was that it wasn't obvious which way to go to get in line when we entered the front door. We were not the only ones who made that mistake, so I know that it wasn't just us. But, that is so minor compared to the whole experience that we had there, which was very good. For as many people who were there,they have a surprisingly ample amount of tables and chairs both inside and outside.Kid-friendliness: I think that the kids would love this. I would have loved a place like this, when I was a kid!

Visited Shake Shack for a special dinner with my daughter, expecting a delightful experience. Instead, we were met with an appalling welcome. Before placing our order, my daughter needed to use the restroom. As I was reviewing the menu, an employee approached with a less-than-friendly demeanor, bluntly informing me that restroom access was restricted to customers only, topped with an unnecessary remark insinuating my unwillingness to make a substantial purchase. This presumption not only lacked professionalism but also basic courtesy. Fortunately, this encounter led us to discover Hollywood Burger across the street, where we enjoyed a meal far superior in both taste and service. A sincere thank you to Shake Shack for steering us towards a truly wonderful dining experience.
