While walking around the area and killing some time, I saw the big banner out front for “Best Waffles in America” so I decided to give it a try.

I ordered a matcha latte and “The Elvis” (which included a waffle topped with natural peanut butter, maple bacon, slices of banana and a drizzle of honey). I love this spot and the neighborhood in general. The waffles were wonderful, but speaking with the owner made me think that if we were able to move there he would be one of my best friends in no time.

Shaky Alibi is a gem! The homemade waffles were absolutely excellent—crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and served with so many different toppings and flavors to choose from. It’s the kind of place where you can keep coming back just to try something new each time. The service was also excellent—friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely a must-visit if you love waffles and great service.
