The front desk waitress had an awful attitude. She didn’t bother to explain the coffee, acted annoyed the entire time, and made the whole experience unpleasant. It honestly felt like she was upset about having to work on Labor Day and decided to take it out on the customers instead. If staff can’t handle being polite and professional, maybe they shouldn’t be the ones greeting people.

Another finding in Ktown, with tricky parking given it is located right by the main road. The place has more dim lighting that I thought but still quite accommodating space for working with plenty of seats and some power outlets. I arrived mid afternoon and they only had very few pastries left on the showcase. Initially, I was eyeing their taiyaki, which was disappointingly not available as the machine was down. I ended up getting the chocolate custard muffin, which wasn't my favorite not to say it's bad but just not wow.
As per the barista's recommendation, I tried the Spanish latte, which was interestingly served with not only cinnamon powder, but also cinnamon stick inside the cup. I loved that I could feel the cinnamon hint but just at the right extent that it was not overpowering the entire coffee taste. It was a bit too sweet vs my preference, but overall I was still enjoying it.
I wouldn't say this would be my favorite place to go, but surely could be an option when being around the area.

Barista forgot my pour over order for 10 min. Then, when i went up to the counter, instead of admitting the mistake and taking the time to make the order, he rushed the drink in 2 minutes. Ended up with brown water, not coffee.

Stayed here to study with some friends, and it was a great place to study and socialize over some pastries and great tasting coffee. It was also very clean and organized 👌
And had charging ports ! Which is rare for cafes in LA. Very reliable. Personally had a Carmael Spice Iced Lattee
Light iced Americano with rather sour flavor. People working here, a chilling coffee shop.
Fabulous coffee. Excellent service.
Sharp Specialty Coffee is an absolute gem nestled in the heart of Los Angeles. I ordered a latte during my visit, and I could instantly tell the difference that sets this specialty café apart from the rest. The rich, smooth flavor and expert crafting of the drink were evident with every sip. The cozy, quiet ambiance offers the perfect backdrop for studying or working, complemented by industrial-themed decor that gives it a unique touch. I loved that the space is dog-friendly, welcoming both two and four-legged visitors with open arms. Although parking can be a bit tricky, the exceptional quality of their beverages and the warm, friendly service make Sharp Specialty Coffee a must-visit spot for anyone passionate about coffee.
Nothing beats the infamous dirty strawberry milk. Big shout to the entire staff who holds it down and never misses a beat
Their Honey Cinnamon Latte was very tasty and well balanced. I could still taste the nuttiness and acidity of the beans with just the right amount of sweetness from the added ingredients to elevate it.
I didn’t care too much for the muffin I got but maybe I’ll try a different pastry next time.
Plenty of seating throughout the cafe.
Really nice chill and spacious cafe in Ktown that I wouldn’t mind popping into again. The quiet vibes really give off a work/study feel to the cafe which is perfect for me to focus and relax in.
Despite how it can be a pain to find parking just to get here (it’s all street meters) I would be down to come back again.

Located in the Ktown area, this coffee shop is one of the best in the neighborhood. The friendly and courteous staff provide exceptional service. The coffee is exceptional as well, I highly recommend trying the cortado or Spanish latte. With ample space to study or work, it offers an ideal environment for productivity
5 star rating is for the coffee as I haven't tried their food yet. Their espresso beans are delicious if you like to taste a little bitterness cut through the milk and flavoring. My favorites there are the Spanish Latte half sweet and Vanilla Latte half sweet.
This is such a cute cafe! The iced Spanish latte is one of my fav drinks! You can request for the pan du chocolat to be warmed. It’s perfect! All the staff I encountered were so kind and patient despite the many drinks they had to create all on their own when there weren’t two baristas. It’s actually a bit insane how much work one single worker does. They should always staff the cafe with two baristas at all times for speedy delivery of the drinks, proper internal support, and overall good vibes for patrons and staff!! The tables are long with many chairs. There are also many outlets across the lobby! Which is always a plus bc my laptop battery dies quick. Overall, very tranquil and great place to study!
I did not like the customer service I received. I walked in and was standing in front of the cashier for a while until an employee came out. Their mouth was full with food. They kept chewing as I asked for the croissant and gestured to me if the order was to go. The employee did not talk to me at all during the interaction. The croissant was stale.
Best cozy cafe to get work done in LA.
