This WAS a beloved ramen joint but just re-opened as a yakitori izakaya as of 11:30 am Labor Day 2024, which is when we went in to check it out. Just as authentic and delicious as before, albeit without customized ramen. The lunch menu has a nice collection of set meals as well as side dishes. We asked if we could see the dinner menu, and here it is. I definitely need to go back and try those small dishes and taste some of these hard-to-get sake from the Tohoku (north) regions...

Came in with my partner and was given an amazing greeting before being sat down. The wait time is average, and the servers were never far away, which was wonderful.
We both had a build your own ramen bowl. Mine looks basic bc im a picky eater, but it was pretty tasty. Their spices could be a bit Spicer, but the teriyaki wings were to die for. They had the perfect crunch and flavor, and the sushi was also average but good. I'll definitely be coming back soon.

JAPAN WOULD NEVER!!!Ramen is good service is great! but advertised as $13 a bowl but in reality w/ like 3-4 small little toppings extra expect to pay $26+ a bowl the bowls don't have many ingredients so they encourage add-ons 3 bowls and a yakitori plate ended up being $106 :/ but understandable for West LA prices ?
