As frequent patrons of Sholeh, we've always praised its consistent quality. However, during our recent Norouz visit, the KOOBIDEH disappointed. Extra spices altered its beloved flavor, tarnishing our experience. Despite impeccable service, the deviation from their usual excellence was undeniable. We hope Sholeh addresses this, as we yearn for the taste that kept us coming back.

The server was indifferent, didn’t care, I think he was the manager ,I told him about the bad quality of their food, no reaction, didn’t even say a word, just looked at me and proceeded my bill payment, he was just into getting money, didn’t care if they gave bad quality of food to the customer, I would never go back to this restaurant and do NOT recommend this place at all.

The food is excellent, I always take my clients and out of town guests to Sholeh . I'm extremely satisfied with the service and how professional all of the workers are. I highly recommended this place.

This place was so bad even one star is too generous! We needed to grab food on a late Sunday night so we stopped by this place on our way back from LA to OC. All I can say is that I've never passed on eating any food specially not when I've been hungry. I ordered kabob barg which is the safest food and you can never go wrong. Unfortunately and to my surprise as soon as they put my food in front of me the bad smell of rotten meat made me so sick I could not touch the food. I told them and they were nice enough to change it to chicken kabob. But, as soon as I took a bite it tasted bad and even though the smell was not nearly as strong but it was still there. My husband also ordered lamb tahchin and barely touched his even though he was very hungry as well. This was the worst food I've ever had in my life

Ordered Tahdig but it was so hard almost broke my tooth. After telling our waiter, he said let me bring you fresh one! Why not bring fresh Tahdig in the first place. Also the Koobideh too much baking soda. Do not recommend this restaurant at all.

I will never go back to that place because the hostess saw me with shorts and tee shirt said we are full even though there were a lot of tables empty,Since they pick and choose who to serve, this is not a place for me.they don't deserve my money

Wow, so that's how good Persian food can be. Met my dad and girlfriend here for dinner and their food was amazing. Service is great, super friendly. The place is chic and modern but not stuffy. They brought me a great veggie dish with rice and tahdig with keshkeh bademjoon. Highly recommend their appetizers. Plenty of street parking and parking uot back as well clean bathrooms.

We will never go back to Flame/Sholeh restaurant again. The food awful, the quality sub standard, management lost and clueless, under staffed, over priced and service zero or none.

Don’t be put off by the neighborhood or the outside of the restaurant. This is a very good, authentic Persian restaurant with some unusual dishes. Also, the waitstaff are very kind and helpful (I think our server was Amir—he was lovely). If in Santa Monica/LA again, I would go back. My only critique would be to serve less rice and add vegetables to the kabob dishes. (The kabobs were huge and delicious).
