Silverlake Ramen Reviews
They let us order. They brought out a few dishes, went back to the kitchen, and came back empty handed to tell us that the rest of my family can't have what they ordered.
Half their menu consists of rice and they had no rice. They tried to force us to stay and order soup, nearly double the price.
They became upset with us and started treating us rudely when we were trying to pay for that partial order.
They still charged us full price and offered no apologies.

Very quick & friendly service at the Sunset location. All I got was a regular-size chicken karaage bowl and it was perfect. Tipped a little extra

Silverlake Ramen is a popular spot for ramen, offering flavorful bowls like spicy ramen, chicken ramen, and the classic tonkotsu ramen. The menu includes toppings such as seaweed, boiled egg, and green onions. The restaurant is located in a shared plaza, where parking can be found in the neighborhood or paid for with valet service. Customers praise the food for being great and worth the small space, with some calling it the best tsukemen in the city. The broth’s savoriness and fattiness are well-balanced, making it a favorite for those craving fatty broth. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is attentive, creating a pleasant dining experience. It’s a small place, but the atmosphere is nice for a quiet meal. The ramen broth is often highlighted as the best part, with some mentioning it as rich, salty, and delicious, especially the classic tonkotsu. The noodles are described as having a nice bite, though some find the texture not perfect. The meat is generally good but unseasoned, simply adding to the overall quality. Customers also note that the place can get busy and noisy, especially during rainy days when many come in for warmth. Overall, Silverlake Ramen remains a top choice for ramen lovers in the area.
