Hands down the best tsukemen in the city. I have tried a fair share of ramen around LA, also a few in Japan, and Silverlake Ramen has been ramaining at the top for me for all those years. The savoriness, and the fattiness, is just at the right balance. Now they have branched out to several different locations, but they just don't match with this original place, unfortunately. Every once in a while when I have that craving for fatty broth, I know this place will be my best bet.
Parking: You should be able to find a street parking near by, but not on Sunset Blvd.

The service was great! The food is good, and very small and cozy in there. They sat us quickly and always were attentive with serving us water. It's a great place if you're in the area. I may need to go again and try other things. But I would definitely go back!

I tried their vegan ramen recently. The broth had a pleasant flavor, not too bold, but with just enough punch to be noticeable. The avocado and lettuce seemed like odd choices, and the one large piece of broccoli made up most of the toppings. There was some corn, but it was hidden under a few tofu squares and that giant broccoli. It wasn’t bad, and in a pinch, I’d order it again.

Overall the ramen was good just not the best. The reason is because I’m comparing it to other ramen spots in LA. However, I would still get ramen from here because of location. It’s close to where I live and their flavors are good.

Awesome little restaurant. They were highly accommodating to our expanding table of guests. And the ramen was delicious. I had the blaze in medium, and some gyoza. Everyone in my party was delighted by the food. It's a tiny little place. Cozy is probably the right term.

Be careful about their scheme. I’ve been coming here for a long time but this past weekend, I was met with a desperate greedy vulture server. I ordered a take away and was not attentive to the payment pad as he moves it around a lot . He intentionally pre selected the 20% before asking me to sign it. My fault for not looking first.
I’m a generous tipper and all this time I thought tipping was optional. I could have given him a larger cash tip but when he pre selected his choice of reward, he limited his greed and at the same time lost a me as a customer and my connections who comes here often. He should’ve let me choose the amount of tip instead of being desperate.
Be attentive before paying. Especially when it’s a take away or to go order.

By far my favorite ramen in LA! I recommend the classic - it's a Tonkatsu pork broth! They have a lot of locations and are on all the delivery apps as well.

It's better than the ramen I had in Japan! It was a happy lunch thanks to the delicious ramen and friendly staff!! Recommended menu items are graze ramen and garlic truffle ramen?? Graze ramen is spicier than expected, almost as spicy as Shin Ramyun, and garlic truffle ramen was my first time tasting it, but the depth of the broth is on a whole new level!! I had karaage as a side dish and it was so juicy and delicious! I drank half and half iced green tea and lemonade, which was recommended as a hidden drink, and it went great with the ramen? I 500% plan to visit again!!

Silverlake Ramen has undergone significant changes since its family-owned days. In 2019, it was acquired by what appears to be a private equity group ("The Aurora Group"), leading to rapid expansion with over 20 locations nationwide using a franchise model. Unfortunately, this growth has come at a cost to quality.
While I wouldn't go as far as some reviewers who claim it's terrible, the restaurant is now merely average — a far cry from its former excellence. The original charm and character that made Silverlake Ramen special has been lost. Overall, while still edible, Silverlake Ramen has become a shadow of its once-great self, sacrificing its unique appeal for the sake of expansion.
