It’s a small place, but the atmosphere was nice for the two of us.
We ordered the Blaze, and the broth was so delicious!
The spicy seasoning comes out clumped in the soup, so if you mix it all in it gets too spicy — mixing in about half makes it just right.
I’m not usually a fan of ramen, but I really enjoyed it.
It's good ramen. Not super authentic, but it's good. The broth is the highlight for sure. Not really tonkotsu, kind of lighter and creamier, but very nice. Noodles get a 6.5 for me. Not exactly the right texture but I didnt hate it. The meat, is good meat, somewhat unseasoned, don't really add a to the flavor - it's just kind of there. Overall quality is good though.
It was one of those gloomy, rainy afternoons. I was just looking for something warm, and I ended up at silverlake kind of by accident, just saw the steam through the window and walked in. I ordered the classic tonkotsu ramen and added an egg on top (because why not). The broth was rich and salty in a good way, and the noodles had a nice bite to them.
