The treatment my daughter received tonight from this restaurant’s manager tonight, is abhorrent. Here’s what happened:My daughter went out with friends from her National Mock Trial team. The irony here is that these kids know and understand the law and generally adhere to it. Tonight, my daughter and one of her teammates came in with their team to eat. They had intended to order at Silverlake, but nothing appealed to them. So they went next door to another restaurant and got an order. They came back and sat at a table next to her teacher. The waitress respectfully approached them and told the two girls they had to leave with their food. Their teacher/coach did NOT want her students outside and vulnerable under her watch, but understanding the request told the girls to come sit with her and the other student with her, figuring with them having just paid over $60 getting food, including some churros for the two girls.Shortly after the supervisor came over, and she told them that they had been told “multiple times” to leave.Keep in mind, at this point:1) there were two paying customers eating (~$60 worth of food), the coach and one other student2) the other girl, the one with my daughter, hadn’t even gotten the food out from the other restaurant, intending to eat back at the hotel3) the teacher had purchased churros for the two girls, so they HAD food purchased at this establishmentLong story short, my daughter was NOT harming their business. The restaurant was fairly empty. After hearing this the teacher sees that yes, there are signs saying to not bring outside food in: 2 small 4” signs that almost blends into the wall. This is a young girl from out of town, a straight A+ senior student. A GOOD kid.Was the restaurant in their legal rights. It came be argued yes, and this restaurant took to legalism rather than look at the sum total of the circumstance and choose human decency.I work in customer service. I know what giving a customer good service looks like. I know that sometimes you break a rule or two to make customers happy… and SAFE.I called the manager/supervisor and got the same legalistic corporate response. No apology … I’m sure she feels she did “The Right Thing”, and by the strictest of definitions she might have. But as far as customer service goes, this is despicable. It is wrong to turn out paying customers (churros) who are high school students, in a prestigious organization, with a responsible adult, simply because they are eating something else, politely, quietly. This attack on school aged children should be considered next time someone considers eating at this establishment.I’m sure the food is tolerable. But the heart here is empty. I’d recommend looking for alternatives.

This place makes great food ?, I usually order food to go from this specific location, but yesterday, I decided to eat in with a few family members who came from Antelope Valley. They came down to celebrate a 9 year Olds birthday ? who loves Ramen. I suggest this place because the food is always delicious when we order for pick up. YESTERDAY when we went it I would say that the experience would not be something that I can recommend to anyone. For one the resturant didn't have a card option only cash, and the only person at the register had no idea where the nearest ATM was at. Once we got all situated, it kinda felt like if we where not completely welcomed. Regardless, we stayed and ate the delicious food. At the end of it we paid but the VIBES there where not to welcoming ?‍♂️. I think I will just order for pick up next time around.

Wow this place really hits the spot I tried the California roll sushi which melted in my mouth and warmed my heart as well as mild ramen with soft boiled eggs that truly warmed my existence. The staff is ultra friendly and always welcomes me with open hearts and arms always. I will be back:)

I've been to this place twice now, and both visits have been underwhelming. I ordered the Truffle Ramen this time with chicken. The chicken was tender, well-cooked but the broth lacked depth and flavor. I tried adding fresh garlic to it and a splash of soy sauce but it didn't help much. I've also tried their Classic Ramen which was also not impressive.

I was going to order again at the end to take it home fresh and I was planning to tip at the end, after paying my first meal the waitress says, "no tip?" Like..b no..what? not after that, who asks that? It was passive aggressive. A tip is optional, extra. And I hadn't even left yet but I did end up tipping cause I guess a b is broke..

This ramen was giving me LIFE! I loved the downtown atmosphere, the friendly staff, and the broth. But, next time, I'm getting the original. My husband couldn't stop inhaling it! I got one taste and knew WHY.

Ordered for delivery got my broth almost all gone..... I asked my delivery driver if it spilled he said no that's how the restaurant gave it to him. It's unfortunate bc this was my favorite spot at some point but I can't even call the store and relay this information which is why I'm doing this review. I ordered extra noodles but since the broth was completely gone there was no point

Me and my husband was in LA enjoying a museum and a concert on Saturday, it was night time already and we were craving ramen. We love silverlake ramen location on sunset blvd so we decided to try this location for a change. I was disappointed of the ramen here on spring st..It was lacking flavor. The sunset Blvd location we go to is way better than this spring st one. At the same time it was very hard to find parking, it's a really busy street, and i didn't feel particularly safe in that area to be honest...go to the sunset Blvd silverlake ramen.

Hours listed here are not correct or employees are just closing early? Says open until 2 and showed up with a group at 12:30. Employees aggressively waved us away saying they were closed. Payed $30 parking too

Recently went back to eat here after some time. Food definitely hit the spot for a late night bite and service was super fast, even thought it seemed like they had a million to-go orders lol ramen broth was great and the gyoza was awesome. they now have beer which is perfect to go with the ramen.

A solid 5-star gem for anyone craving both delicious and vegan-friendly options! The ramen was so tasty - flavorful and fresh. The broth was rich and savory, complementing the perfectly cooked noodles. The staff's friendliness and efficiency only added to the positive vibes. I highly recommend for a truly enjoyable and satisfying meal!

Im not sure if it was because we went in 30 minutes before closing but the food was so plain. We got a spicy tuna roll and veggie ramen. Both were flavorless. The restaurant inside looked nice. I wish the food would match the appearance of the restaurant.
