The food is good, I really like it, but pretty much every time I get take out here they get my order wrong/forget something. Still likely gonna get stuff from them but come on guys, do better
I enjoyed their falafels and hummus at the grand opening. However, the place is disappointingly not halal. In a neighborhood that is increasingly being gentrified, the absence of halal food at a Lebanese joint inevitably excludes the Muslim and Arab student body at Occidental College(the irony!). Zweet Cafe nearby has halal options and I hope Skaf’s can follow suit.
This place is close to a 5. But here's what happens and it's common at restaurants like this: either order a plate or pay like $70 for 2 people. The Toum is great. Falafel is really good. Lentil Soup really bland. Hummus taboulee and baba ghanouj are all really good. The Foul was great actually.

My partner and I love this place. It's one of our favorite places in the neighborhood and we feel incredibly lucky to have this within walking distance to us. Everything is really great -- ambiance is casual, food is so fresh & delicious and the service is really great too. The staff checks in on you quite a lot-- a bit more than I would personally prefer but you can't fault them for being overly attentive. If you like to engage in conversation uninterrupted, perhaps opt for the outdoor seating but other than that everything about this place is perfect.

This place is such a gem. Everything was incredible. The tartare with mint was a standout, and the chicken shawarma wrap I could easily eat everyday. Our server Fernando was such a joy too. Can’t wait to go back when they’ve got Lebanese wine and beers.
