The best food to dine in or take out, so it’s my number one choice! Every recipe they use here is amazing. You know how some restaurants are known for the best pizza slice or the best cut of steak or the best chicken dish? This restaurant gives you that feeling with every menu item and I’ve tried all of them! The team is friendly and passionate, the energy is very good here! I recently tried something I had never seen, the zaatar chips, as you can see I couldn’t even wait to eat the chips and hummus before my picture and this is the most unique and pleasant tasting chip I have ever eaten. I consider Scaf’s on York my number one eatery and I’m always satisfied here. Kebob is amazing, sandwiches melt in my mouth, appetizers are extremely flavorful keep up the great work!

Probably the best Lebanese restaurant in LA and one of the best restaurants in LA! The staff is so kind, helpful, and knowledgeable about the cuisine. We came as a group of 4 and really embraced the family style eating, we got so much food some of the favs were the baba ganoush, hummus with beef, the lamb skewers, and the rose water ice cream was to die for!!! It is a bit pricey but worth the food, would come again!

Skaf’s on York is a hidden gem in Highland Park! If you’re craving authentic Lebanese comfort food, this is the place to go. The portions are generous, everything tastes homemade, and the flavors are rich and satisfying. The chicken shawarma plate is juicy and well-seasoned, and the garlic sauce is seriously addictive — I could eat it with everything.
The staff are super welcoming, and service is fast whether you’re dining in or picking up. The vibe is casual and cozy, perfect for a laid-back lunch or dinner. Parking can be tricky on York, but it’s absolutely worth it.
Definitely recommend the hummus with beef or lamb, and don’t skip the lentil soup if they have it — it’s hearty and delicious. Great spot to support a family-run business with food that hits the spot every time.

This place is delicious. Two of us split the vegetarian platter (hummus, babaganoush, tabouleh, cabbage salad, falafel, pickles), the chicken shawarma, and the spicy crispy potatoes. The shawarma is good, with some great room. The platter with falafel is great, everything on it is delicious. But the absolute best thing was those garlic potatoes. The spicy garlic paste that's on them is amazing! The potatoes are crispy and perfectly cooked. I'm going to be thinking about those potatoes for a while....until I come back and have them again. The pita was the only thing that wasn't amazing. It was probably heated up so by the time you're a quarter into it, it's cracker hard. The flavor is good, though.
The host and server we had were so, so friendly and nice. And the place is super cute, with a nice relaxed vibe, whether inside or outside.

i felt that a lost was missing from my to-go order. $25 for 2 skewers and some rice- idk usually there’s more!
My most visited spot in the neighborhood by far. Always fresh, always delicious. Excellent kabobs and shawarma. Bonus for being family run w/ super friendly staff.
Don’t sleep on the grilled chicken burger w/ fries 😮💨

**A Delightful Lebanese Experience in L.A.**
My boyfriend and I decided to try a new Lebanese restaurant this past Saturday, and it was an absolute delight! We were in the mood for something tasty, and this place did not disappoint. We were able to get a table on the patio- perfect for the beautiful day.
We started with the hummus, which was incredibly smooth and flavorful. The lentil soup was also delicious, warming us up perfectly. My boyfriend opted for the classic chicken wrap, and it was a hit! The wrap even came with French fries inside, adding a fun and tasty twist. I had the beef wrap, and it was exactly what I needed - so good and satisfying.
Fernando was friendly and helpful and beyond apologetic when he realized he forgot our lemonades. It was busy so I didn't bug him once our food came, but he caught it when he was preparing our bill. He promised free lemonades next time. Thoughtful and kind gesture.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience and can't wait to visit again the next time we're in L.A. Highly recommend!

I usually love this place and have gone here multiple times however this most recent time I experienced service inequality. The outdoor server never greeted me and continued to sit and talk to the young women on the patio. I got seated from the great waitress inside who was very attentive but, I believe his name was Josh, would carry long conversations with the women next to me, asking about the food, their plans for the day, what they were doing, and yet never checked on me once. To the point where the waitress had to call him into the kitchen. I had to flag him down for anything. It seemed odd the people next to me received tremendously better service. Sorry my shirt wasn’t low cut enough for a water refill.
Maybe just take out from here- food is great!
