Softies Burger - USC Village

We were waiting for the cod burger, but it ran out just before us. I got the Cali and it was nice but I will have to go back for the cod and see what all the fuss about it is cause it had a long queue and it doesn’t have stores anywhere else.

Update: I had the cali, aji and the cod and the aji is definitely THE best!!! It has a little kick to it with the jalapeño and cilantro sauce(which you can’t really tell there’s cilantro inside). God this is amazing. Their new location is in the USC village and is so pretty in good weather

This place does NOT miss. I’ve tried four of their menu items and each one slaps. Not to mention the service, speed, and vibes are incredible. I always leave with a smile :) COME HERE GUYS

tried the aji double burger, breakfast burrito, and their new chicken bacon wrap and the food here is amazing for a reasonable price point. furthermore the owner here is super nice and friendly with the food coming out super quick. definitely one of my top places in the village

some actual quality food on campus let’s go. i hope this place stays forever. love the vibe here and the burgers are on par with any of the top LA smashburgers you can think of

The burger with mushrooms is special. Everything we got was great. People mentioned fries needing improvement, but they must have listened bc the fries were great.

Been following softies since the smorg days and was really excited to make the trip and finally visit the brick and mortar. I had high expectations and was disappointed that the vibe was not quite what I was expecting. I know everyone has bad days but I wish the customer service had been a bit more helpful and more welcoming. Cashier was cold and almost felt bothered when taking my order which kinda made it feel like a very McDonalds experience. I do however know everyone has bad days.
Overall food was solid but dont forget to add and will definitely be back to give softies another shot.

Great! Aji burger was so goood
Definitely tasted like a “korean” burger which i loved.
But the fries were extremely salty.
The drink was great too.

Softies totally lived up to the hype! We tried The Cali, The Aji, and the Crispy Shroom — all solid, but The Aji was the winner with that jalapeño and aioli combo 🔥. Definitely recommend the double patty on the Shroom for a better balance. Loaded tots (Aji style) were a must, and the Orange Bang + Limonada combo hit the spot!

Even during a hectic lunch rush and a tech hiccup, the staff was friendly, calm, and on top of it all. Clean space, great energy, and bonus points for the pet-friendly patio. We’ll be back!

Absolutely delicious smash burgers here, personal fav is the Aji but wife loved the shroom burger. Decor is a nice nostalgic touch with the old school diner menu as you get there.

This place beat my all time favorite win-dow spicy from hi-ho and many others like ban ban and amboy. Place is super cute and clean / service was on point. Free parking for 2hrs is great. If they can step up their fry game a little bit ;)
