our favorite spot in the neighborhood! The service is always amazing and the food is top level. I can’t believe the mole comes all the way from Oaxaca, but then I do believe it because it tastes amazing. Any dish with seafood is always on point as well.

So I tried two things at Somos Oaxaca LA. First was the mole negro with chicken and honestly, the sauce is the star. It’s super rich, smoky, a little bitter, with that hint of sweetness and chocolate that sneaks up after a few bites. The chicken just soaks it all in, and the rice on the side is perfect for mopping up the extra sauce. It feels like one of those dishes you just sit with and savor because every bite hits a little differently.

We loved the food here it was our first time coming it was a mother and daughter date and we loved it so much the service was good our waitress Janet was very nice and the atmosphere was calm and nice, we will be coming back.
