SO SO GOOD BUT CLOSED THERES NO MORE SIGN :((( AND WINDOWS COVERED UP #RIP #SORIMMARA4EVR
So my friend usually eats a lot. This time her first bite of the malaxiangguo was perfect but she felt ill shortly after. She still paid but because all the foods we picked ourself with no server service we didn’t give tip. So I guess regina wasn’t so happy about it and decided to tip herself 6 dollars. We called back and she did end up returning it to us. But just this act is disgusting and will never return again. Imagine if it’s people who doesn’t check their credit card bills?????

Woo… paid $54.98 for one takeout order. I was expecting at least something worth the price. Woo again… it turned out to be the worst food I’ve ever tasted—completely bland, without any flavor at all. Very disappointing.

rly bad
This would be five stars BUT they were playing AI generated songs about coffee the entire meal. Just a bizarre, distracting, and highly unpleasant choice that made it difficult to enjoy the good food. Play real music please! It can't possibly be that expensive.

Visited this place during not busy hour. The server waited 5 mins to sit us and didn’t bother to talk to us after another 5 mins to introduce us what we “suppose” to be doing. Beside Mala pot, we also got some other side orders. We were told it will at least take 15-20 mins, but it wasn’t until 30 mins after that we got our side order. The customer got in 10 mins later than us were able to get the exact same order before we did. The rice was terrible as well. You can barely taste anything. Service was little too none. We were barely being served.

This review is based on Rose Mara Xiang Guo. I tried mara once and didn't enjoy it, but I decided to give this place a shot for lunch with a friend today. Feeling hesitant to order the original mara, we opted for Rose Mara Xiang Guo instead. Did we like it? Unfortunately, no. The rose sauce was overly creamy and salty. We spent around $50, and it just didn't feel worth it. We also tried the Pork Guobaorou, which was better than the Rose Mara Xiang Guo, but the sauce was too sweet. I ended up dipping it into a soy sauce I had made for the mara. We had hoped for a better experience, but we realized mara just isn't for us. Spent over $80 for these two items...

Guys! I can’t recommend this place enough. This will now be my goto place whenever I’m craving Mala. Also, pls try the Pork Guobaorou, thank me later. The Malatang had so much flavor and I loved how you can add the ingredients you want too!

I decided to try something new , I went to this restaurant and order a soup from here. The Korean server was nice but didn’t ever ask me why my table was. I give a her a $5 tip and left . Later and the next day I had a stomach pain and had so much diarrhea from this restaurant. I couldn’t go to work for 2 days. I still have a stomach pain now and I’m Never eating at this place again.

If you’re a fan of spicy food and up for a challenge, Sorimmara in K-Town is where you need to be! They’re serving some of the most intense mala hotpots I’ve ever had. Originally established in Korea, this place knows how to bring the heat — literally. They even have an “inferno” spice level that only a few people have managed to conquer. I thought I could handle the medium spice, but wow, it was no joke! My mouth was numb, and my insides were definitely feeling the burn. Still, the flavors were fantastic and rich; it’s not just about heat here, but real, savory flavor that keeps you coming back for more (even through the pain!).
The medium was just spicy enough to push me to my limit, but not unbearable, so I’d recommend it if you want to challenge yourself without going full inferno. Even though I couldn’t finish the whole bowl, I left with a happy belly and a big smile. Plus, the portions are generous, the vibe is lively, and the staff was super friendly. Highly recommend for spice lovers or anyone looking to try something new and bold in LA!
