My friends and I went to Sorry Not Sorry on Sunday, 10/12, around 7 p.m. The hostess told us we could sit inside or outside — no mention of any restrictions. We chose a table outside, and as my friends were showing me the birthday cupcakes they’d made, the bartender came up angrily, demanding to know what we were doing there and whether we had “snuck in” to start setting up. No greeting, no introduction — just immediate hostility. It was extremely unprofessional and...read full review
My sister in law made a reservation. When we requested our table we were greeted by an obnoxious manager? We were told there was no reservation. After further investigation, the reservation was found. The manager then said, “oh I see you made the reservation today at 1:42 for 6:45”. He was absolutely rude. Sorry Not Sorry is a lively restaurant and bar with a great atmosphere suited for both small and large groups. The spacious outdoor patio features heaters, making it ideal for events like birthday parties, while the vibrant indoor bar area creates a fun setting. The bar offers a variety of drinks at average prices, and the food menu includes vegan and vegetarian options. Standout dishes include Beer and Turmeric fries, jackfruit tacos, and breakfast sandwiches, with special mentions of Vietnamese inspired steak with homemade fries and a delicious vegan ceviche. Customers have noted that while drinks and entrees can be a bit pricey, especially in Los Angeles, Chef Kim Vu's creations are often praised for being reasonably priced and flavorful. Some have mentioned that grilled items were sometimes burnt, and service can be slow when staff is stretched thin, but the staff is generally friendly and attentive. The venue is well-loved for hosting events, is LGBTQ friendly, and has a stylish, clean vibe that appeals to many.
