Being part of the Lab at Sorry Not Sorry is such and incredible privilege. Chef Kim Vu treated us to her deliciously flavored Vietnamese inspired steak with homemade fries and an arugula salad that had incredible roasted cherry tomatoes on top. She described the details of the care she put into each dish, and sat with everyone who came to discuss her love of food and restauration. Really cute neighborhood place, and I love that it’s LGBTQ friendly! The food is unique because the owner is a chef, and the menu is constantly changing. The drinks are creative and strong, and I would recommend any dish that has mole!!
I came here during dine L.A. week and was pleasantly surprised! I got the steak and fries and they were both perfectly seasoned and the steak was really juicy. I also tried the vegan ceviche which was probably my favorite even though I’m not vegan. The staff was super friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cute. I definitely will be back!
