Sotto

So distraught that this place is closing! I just moved into the neighborhood and only visited once. The excitement of having a neighborhood italian joint in walking distance with the best damn homemade bread (that char!) and a truly hygge atmosphere lit up this corner of the city for me. Though I'm looking forward to seeing the next line up of restaurants from these folks, knowing they'll be in DTLA gives me a heavy heart. Sotto can't be replaced.

I gotta be quick with the review before the impending closure of the restaurant at the end of the Saturday night. It was made official this morning on the news of the closing at the end of this Saturday's service. Sort of bummed, but at least I can visit either Rossoblu or Alimento. Personally coming to this part of south Beverly Hills is somewhat nerve wrecking on Friday or Saturday night for dinner because of the rough bottleneck traffic, but it was well worth the drive for...read full review

So sad to hear they are closing! Have been here a handful of times and every dish has been great. (Favorites: Margherita pizza with burrata, squid ink pasta, risotto.) Wish their employees all the best. They'll be missed in the area.
