Took my friend for his 40th Birthday . The food was okay. The menu is limited which i actually liked. I just wish there was a few more options. The drinks were really good the view was beautiful

No roof open air awesome views of DTLA at 73rd floor. Beautiful architecture, colorful high tech lighting and sleek interior design. Incredibly friendly and helpful waiters and staff. Food and drinks are expensive. High quality and very tasty. Very comfortable and can get windy / cold! Wonderful memorable experience.

The views are amazing and the people working were awesome. I question placing a negative review as I don't want to negatively impact the associate team. It's a great view, very windy and cool so hard to just hang out comfortably, we were ready to leave pretty quick. Drinks were not that great. Based not the price for the drinks you would think they would be amazing, however they are simply well++ drinks with the cost coming from the view. The Mexican street corn was good, the rest was OK and overall it was very expensive. Almost $200 for 6 tacos, street corn and 2 drinks.

Overall a very lackluster experience. The waiter was nice but other than that everything else was very subpar especially the food. None of us finished our food as a result. Views were nice.

First time here. Went for drinks and apps at sunset. Can't really see sunset through tinted windows, but the city lights after dark are cool. All the fire pits make the atmosphere somewhat cozy. Food and drinks are very pricey for what you get. Very much a club atmosphere with loud music. Unfortunately, it was cold and windy and the heaters are between the tables so you can't really feel the heat. The servers gave out blankets which made it bearable.

This restaurants view is amazing, although it was gloomy, the sunset view was great. You are basically paying for the view. The food is OK, average. The drinks were good. On our visit, it was a pretty cold/windy evening, and they offered us warm blankets. I thought that was such a great gesture. I would definitely visit this place again (and during the summer) but maybe just for drinks.

It was great. Not a lot of outside noise or distractions. Thanks for the blanket to keep us warm from the cold. The view from up there was amazing. Server and staff were attentive.

Security and treatment to InterContinental Guests is bottom of the barrel. Especially if you’re a person of color. Damn shame. Last time I stay at this hotel.

Very excited to visit. Not too excited if I ever would again. Espresso martini was mediocre at best. They need to upgrade recipe. The chicken skewer app had chicken that was pink and red inside. Like Medium meat. We sent it back but offered to pay. Tipped waitress 20 before getting the check to realize that they put automatic 18 %. Fine. So she got 47 bucks on a 130 tab. She could have been forthcoming, but was not. Whatever. View is spectacular. Place looks impressive, but once settled in, not at all. We asked to be moved to a table 15 feet away. Place almost empty. But was told No. section closed. We were there for an hr. Waitress could have accommodated the move/us and just kept us happy. But I guess it was against the “rules” and too get to walk... we had a drink at the bar before leaving, so spent 200 buck and left with a “eeeh” feeling. Disappointed. Yes. Will be back - prolly not. Used to work in hospitality hotels F&B for many years. This got all the elements of a great downtown spot, but due to - I don't know - mismanagement, or disinterested staff, it sucks more than it should. With proper guidance. They gave out 2 free desserts. Which we did absolutely not ask for. Rather, I said “please bring nothing extra. We are fine”. But we got them either way, and got To Go boxes. I guess trying to make up for the half raw chicken. Should be the hottest spot in downtown LA. It is not.

The food was terrible and lacked flavor. We both ordered the short ribs and they were so tough we each only took one bite. TWO 18% service charges were added onto our bill. Very expensive experience for a horrible meal. It was also freezing up there and they do not have strong enough heaters to have a complete open air rooftop for this time of year.

Food was not good. Over seasoned. Drinks were not good. Too sweet. And I got an Old Fashioned. Service was too slow. Price doesn't bother me. But if I'm going to pay a pretty penny, I expect better quality. If it wasn't for the location and the view, I would rate this place a 1.

Eunice was out service and she was amazing very attentive and very easy to talk to as my second language is English she did as best as possible to understand and was polite at the same time. We had the chicken sticks and fish tacos to start of and food was warm and amazing. We then had the burgers and steak and shrimp and tortilla soup all was good and hot thanx for this amazing experience. Oh can't forget the receptionist which I called before heading there and she was polite and helpful over the phone on dress code and guidance to the 73 floor.

The food was OK a little bland. The service was pretty good from the bartender but the waitresses were not coming by as often. Ambulance is OK I felt the place is missing a little bit more customer service and a lot better food

We came here for the rooftop bar, and it's not anything exceptional. There were many empty tables but filled with used glasses and utensils. Not many servers were cleaning them up, and it left a bitter taste in our mouth. We moved some dirty glasses on a table to another table and got to sit there for the rest of the night. Waited for at least 10 minutes for a drink. I ordered an expresso martini, and it was fine. It is not worth the price. This is definitely a one-time thing, and I don't see myself coming back again.

Make sure to never ask for help on the 70th floor because the concierge (two women) were the worst type of help I have ever had to experience. They made fun of me and my son when we asked how to get to the 73rd floor. One of them told me it's not that hard, ma'am, . if they wanted to be helpful, they would walk you to where you need to go. I was waiting for my boyfriend, and one of them continually repeated that I needed to go down the stairs when I had already gotten the directions from her the first five times. She kept laughing with the other attendant because she thought I did not understand directions. The only people that were super sweet were the people on the 73rd floor. Overall, the experience was amazing at the bar and the food was incredible.
