This is my favorite coffee place. I started going when it first opened over a decade ago. It was one of the first coffee shop around when DTLA was emtpy.... now I fear it may not last. Hours are inconsistent (8am and not open yet), supplies too.... I hope I am wrong and this is just a phase.

WEAk coffee. More importantly: clerk handed me the coffee and dismissed me before giving me the screen to finish the credit card transaction. I actually had to ask for the screen so she didn't fill out her own tip. (Which is very likely why she 'forgot.') Make sure you completely finish your transaction and get a receipt. Super shady.

Great coffee! Drip coffee is just right, and cappuccino is truly gentle there

Very good espresso drinks and great service. Very friendly place. I’ll be back…..

Barista was friendly and very helpful! Gave me a spot-on description of the coffee ordered, and the coffee was excellent! I look forward to getting a pour over next time I'm in LA.

Reasonable pricing and friendly service. A couple tables to sit down in front of the store :)

Nice little place for coffee, tea, and pastries with some legitimate seating outside.

Tiny location but service was lovely and their drinks were beautifully crafted. I was so pleasantly surprised with the Honey Cinnamon Iced latte; it was seriously some of the smoothest, richest lattes I have had in LA. This place is worth the trek downtown! Seriously.

My first time trying out this cafe. I love dtla and was excited to try this hidden coffee spot. Not only was the guy welcoming when we ordered but my hot matcha latte was perfect! It's been a minute since I've had a good latte and this was exactly what I needed. Highly recommend. Thank you!

Great location, amazing coffee and very nice barista!! Highly recommend
closes way earlier than described. no matter how good the coffee is, never being available kinda ruins the experience.

Really cute place! A lot smaller than you would expect and even smaller since it seems like they use some of the shop for storage. Also a bit difficult to find parking but if you live in one of the thousand apartment buildings in DTLA maybe swing by! Just got a regular iced vanilla latte

Really good coffee. Skip the cattycorner Starbucks and come here.Spring for Coffee was here before Starbucks and the sole survivor when Starbucks opened here - that should tell you something!

One guy behind the counter, by himself, making the best coffee. Get the Spanish Latte.
