Delicious, big portions. The green juice is a bit strong but pretty good.

Parking is awful but worth the pain to get their French toast. It is the fluffiest, lightest French toast I have ever had. They changed the menu and seating around but the latter is for the better. Always leave Square One full and happy.

I am extremely disappointed with the visit to Square One. I took my spouse and mom for breakfast and had terrible service. Our server (I forgot his name but he was white with short curly hair and wore a cap) did not check in on us at all after we received our food. All he did was take our drink and food order. We even saw him petting a customer's dog (which I was surprised considering that he handles food) instead of checking in with us as one of our food orders was completely wrong. Towards the end, we even had to flag another server down to pay our bill since ours did not come to our table to check in. As for the food, it took forever to come out (it wasn't too busy either) and the breakfast burrito lacked flavor and a good majority of the potatoes were burnt to a crisp. I would definitely not recommend this place.

Salad is a bit rotten as these leaves come rotten often, otherwise food was delicious, especially the French

Good sized portions but very limited & extremely egg-centric menu. Priced very much like its competitors, except the coffee, which was bitter, small, & after $4 for 8oz its $1.75 for each refill? (Shameful penny pinching in my opinion) The friendly & outgoing Saturday morning manager & the smile brought to my 8yr old's face with the Vegan Breakfast Burrito made it all worth while.

Food was ok the potato were burnt. I had more burnt skin on my plate than potatoes. Service was ok. We had to keep asking for stuff and he would bring one item at a time. I've been in the service industry it's best to ask what is needed in the beginning then to have to have customers ask and then bring one thing out at a time. The food was better from before they reopened. There's alot less options now and service not so good. The server also didn't know the menue well either.

Came for brunch with friends on a Saturday. It was easy to grab a table outside. My eggs Benedict was very good. Perfectly portioned and the home fries on the side were seasoned perfectly. Coffee was also good and the service was great.
2023-04-23 (5 yr update): We’ve since moved to Orange County and dreamt of the Huevos Rancheros at Square One, so we made the drive to get some, but unfortunately it’s far from the same. Very bland, heavy on the cheese and refried beans, cold. Not as fresh as it once was. Sadly the matcha wasn’t good either (very grainy). Will still have fond memories of the delicious food, but happy to see the ambiance hasn’t changed.Huevos rancheros with chorizo was spectacular! Brioche toast was good as well, but a bit soggier than I prefer.Staff were friendly and attentive.Atmosphere was great as well. Highly recommended.
feeling so lucky to live so close to this gem. their breakfast is my favorite, coffee is wonderful and the staff are angels! plus their playlists are always 10/10. love u guys. x

Best brunch ever!!! I’m from Vancouver and found this place while I was staying in LA. Food was amazing and service was excellent. I will definitely be returning any time I find myself in LA.
Brilliant food, good value, just update your maps profile with your opening hours, we went for breakfast on a Monday and oops! You are closed! Real shame.
Below average. Coffee isn't good at all. No refills on coffee either, at least not for my friend, who kept his coffee. Order taker did simply that: take the order. There was no check back to see how our meals were or any other type of interaction. I've had better conversations at a drive-thru. Food was alright. Nothing to write home about. After wanting to try this place for several years being that I always drive past it, the experience was quite disappointing. Probably won't be back.
Have been here a handful of times for brunch and every single meal I’ve tried has been delicious. Nothing too fancy or over the top, very unpretentious, but the quality and service are above and beyond. Usually I like to try a few things until I find that one dish I like to stick with but this menu is so good I just keep wanting to try new things!
Great service and a very nice patio for a beautiful breakfast/lunch outdoors. Their service was also great. They don’t have a huge menu. I had their famous golden milk but it was kinda anti-climactic. With turmeric and cinnamon it was kinda powdery. I wish I had a stirring straw to mix up the foam on top. I also had the breakfast burrito with a side salad. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great. My friend had pancakes, which were more like silver dollar pancakes, but very fluffy and light. And the breakfast tacos. Overall this place is cute for a breakfast/lunch with friends.
