They recently put back a few power outlets but they've gone back to keeping it freezing cold in order to force people to leave after short stay. I'm wearing a winter coat and scarf and it's 75 outside. This is ridiculous. Built for tourists that buy and go. They don't care about local crowd at all. My guess is corporate forced the power outlets. Sadly the DM says the power initiative isn't until 2026

The Starbucks at the Farmers Market is one of the most unique Starbucks locations in LA. Set right in the middle of the historic marketplace, it blends the familiar comfort of the brand with the charm and energy of the Farmers Market atmosphere.
The service here is consistently friendly and fast, even when the area gets busy with tourists and locals. The baristas are efficient and upbeat, and drinks come out exactly as ordered. Seating can be a bit limited during peak hours, but the surrounding market offers plenty of spots to sit, relax, and enjoy your coffee while people-watching.
What makes this location stand out is the vibe there’s something fun about grabbing a classic Starbucks drink in the middle of such a lively, iconic LA landmark. Whether you’re starting your day, taking a break while exploring the market, or grabbing something to go, this Starbucks delivers a convenient and reliable experience.
Overall, a great stop for a quick caffeine fix with a side of classic LA character.

This Starbucks is always annoying because they play music so loud, and don't even say your name when orders are done. You have to go check on it every once in awhile. The only reason I go here is that it's convenient when visiting The Grove.

This is a good store. They treat me really well and most of the employees are really nice... Joseph and Helen always give me great service and I enjoy going there.
I definitely recommend it. Also, unlike CBTL at the Farmers Market they have inside seating.

Maybe it’s my luck but more times than not this location is out of stuff or machine not working, super nice people but too often a let down due to poor management

Absolutely the worst Starbucks experience! There were 3 staff talking to each other and ignored me not to take the order for a long time. Once they finally finished talking they were just trying to get rid of me. Is it a fake Starbucks branch? I suspect that they just put the logo and that’s it.

I wonder if if there’s still the people scamming by cashing out gift cards and then making complaints about the employees lol

This Starbucks is in a super convenient spot right inside the Original Farmers Market , great if you need a quick coffee while exploring. The drinks were made well and consistent with other locations, but the service was a bit slow, likely because it was very busy. Seating is limited, and it can get crowded fast. Good for a quick grab and go, but not ideal if you’re looking to sit and relax.

I came on 7/1/25
Around 5 PM
I order ice blended green tea mocha
The cashier charged me $ 5.75
Then I came to pick up my drink
The other lady that make the drink
Refuse to give me the drink and blame me that I didn’t pay for that
I checked my American Express credit card and I got charged.
She figure out they make mistake and
The cashier lady forgot to charge me extra dollars 25 for shot of espresso
Then I ask her if I just get my drink and pay the difference she was still refusing to give me the drink
I asked to talk the her manager
then the Manager started yelling on me what do you want ??!?
I told her just my drink that I paid
The manager reply and said take your drink
And you’re “not welcome here anymore”
So unprofessional.
The manager refused to give me her name
In order to report complaint
I have a friend that was there with me at the same time so we took some videos for evidence

They totally ruined matcha latte. Not just this store, all of them. Even though I ask for an extra scoop of matcha, it still looks almost white, like it's just milk. Tastes like milk too. Please go back to the old recipe!!!

I'm a regular customer from Starbucks , but today I just feel like drinking a cup of water . In all the Starbucks ,I ask for a cup of water and at this location they say no ,until I make a purchase. I do not feel like drinking anything else just water ,

We ordered 3 hot regular chocolate and we didn’t like them, so I knew the warranty Starbucks, that if you don’t like the product you can ask for an exchange, so I asked for 3 white chocolate, the crew was so rude and also he said, “One of the cup is half empty, so I’ll give it like that, it makes me laugh, and she gave me the same regular chocolate, bad point for this great franchisee!!
