I stopped by this Starbucks today hoping to grab a pastry. Unfortunately, this location doesn’t have a display case or a menu for pastries. While they have some menus with pictures for drinks and breakfast foods, there’s nothing for pastries. When I asked how I could order one, the barista started listing them off in a very annoyed tone. I could barely understand what she was saying, but her irritation was clear. I asked again if there was a menu I could see, and she flatly said no. At that point, I just said ā€œno thank youā€ and walked out.

This isn’t the kind of customer service I expect. Just get a menu printed. Starbucks is a huge corporation with deep pockets and resources, sheesh.

While I’ll still stop here for coffee, I won’t be ordering anything else or dealing with the staff beyond that. Even if this location is in a rough neighborhood, there’s no excuse for treating loyal customers so poorly.

Worst Starbucks on the website it says drive thru close and that it’s open to 12 am yet the doors are close u can’t go inside to pick up ur order and when u go on the drive thru they want me to announce on the drive thru that I have a mobile order what’s the whole point of ordering ahead they make u waste time girl has attitude no customer service skills at all First time coming and we will not be coming back to this location !!! Do not recommend it go too 9th and flower for a great experience this Place is not fast or nice

It's not the staff's fault, it's the management fault. Find good baristas. Everyone can make coffee, but is it tasty? And just a note: don’t respond to people’s comments the same way, work on yourself.

Earlier today on November 30th at around 9:30-10:00 am, I was ordering coffee with a friend and her daughter at the drive at the Starbucks on Alvarado and 3rd St in Los Angeles. We had one of the WORST experiences that I have ever had at a Starbucks Coffee.

First when ordering at the Drive Thru intercoms, Geraldine responded to me in a rude matter. When it came to picking up the coffees, I had to do a small modification of an order and let her know of this change immediately. We ordered a Caramel Frappuccino that had an odd flavor. I myself confirmed that the drink was off. Geraldine responded back surly with ā€œit was made how it was suppose to be madeā€ she then proceeded to mock us with the other SB partners telling them to make the drink and how it inconvenienced the SB partners.

I don’t appreciate Geraldine’s behavior at the drive-through window. As customers who went and stopped at the Starbucks to purchase beverages were treated in this manner and felt that we were such a bother, then we will not be patronizing Starbucks in this location or in the nearby area.

I will also add that this comes at a time where Starbucks Coffee is losing customers to other coffee shops and yet the same company is expecting us to tip. How is this friendly for patrons?
