I ask for a cup of ice at the order counter and the guy kept ignoring me and acting like it was such a hassle to give me a cup of ice just because he had SUCH a hard time calling out orders and was filled but the moment a white lady walked in and asked for a cup and a lid the guy immediately and with pleasure in his voice gave it to her right away while still ignoring me keep in mind I am brown! it took longer to get a dumb cup of ice than my drink itself!! I go to school across the street and I have never encountered this only with this guy and another asian lady who is also rude. The guy was being absolutely unprofessional and showed his racism.

The staff were racists here. Sadly, racism still exists. I was shocked the whole time, it was hard to be on the receiving end. I hope Starbucks takes necessary action towards these employees.

They didn't let me get my birthday reward and it was so crowded with highschool students being so loud and playing music and saying inappropriate things
Kid-friendliness: It's not a kid friendly place because of the rude service and the high school students cursing and smoking around it

They are starting from ground zero after painting over the gorgeous constellation mural on their north wall. Amongst the most pathological, anti-social and corrosive forces in society is the lack of respect for art. They painted the entire wall in a pale yellow, the intensity of which is of course associated with the color psychology of betrayal, deceit or conflict. That is the perfect metaphor for the store as it has evolved away from a community-oriented location. To understand this place one would need to understand how vibrant it was before the pandemic. It was indeed friendly and community driven. One could visit and sit at a bar near the baristas and talk with neighbors. The bar has since been closed and turned into a to-go distribution table. This is just a symptom of SB abandoning any interest in appealing to third-wave artisanal coffee drinkers. Staff has rolled over multiple times since the pandemic took hold. There’s no continuity here nor community left. Some of the staff have taken to being particularly nasty (see other reviews), also. Drinks are poured light, likely a cost-saving measure. They berate customers for coming into the store any time within a half-hour of closing. And they claim the bathroom is broken to prevent customers from using it close to closing time, too.Anyway, this location is no better than a to-go cart, and it lost any of its remaining charm when they defaced the gorgeous mural.
Parking: Very busy from 7a to 11a.

Can’t follow simple instructions on a simple coffee order. The cashier guy at counter even had an apron that said partner or something. Ridic.
