After spending $14 on a breakfast bagel and coffee, my coffee was a bit sweet. I asked for a it to be made with more espresso, he returned with a 3.50 up-charge for an additional shot, (this is a 8 dollar coffee already) when I refused, he proposed to remake it with less chai. He returned with a cup of milk on ice and called it a coffee. I asked for my money back. Trash service. Didn’t give me a receipt so I couldn’t complain directly.

The staff here are great! Weekday mornings can get quite busy but they do a great job of keeping the line moving. My only sadness comes from knowing corporate Starbucks are Union busters and without striking Starbucks workers struggle to get what the want.

I visit my local Starbucks every morning and have always had a great experience with the team — everyone is usually very welcoming and helpful. However, this morning, I had a disappointing interaction with a barista named Noemy. I ordered a Strawberry Acai Refresher, which normally comes with strawberry inclusions. When I received my drink, there were no strawberries in it. I kindly asked if it could be remade with the inclusions, and was told, “We charge,” as if I was asking for something extra — even though the strawberries are a standard part of the drink. This led to a back-and-forth that felt unnecessary, and I ended up telling her to just take the drink back. The interaction felt dismissive and not in line with the welcoming service I’m used to. I wanted to share my experience so it can be addressed. I really appreciate the usual level of care at this location and hope this was just a one-time issue.
