I appreciate the male barista. He was incredibly sweet and understanding. Each worker was fast at service and made items (in my experience) correct. It's just a couple of the female workers can definitely get snippity. I have hearing loss, so as part of my order was ready, I didnt hear as I was paying for the last item. When I went to get drink, it took a few minutes, which is ok because I wasnt in a major rush . When she finally saw me, she passive aggressively said she called name twice. She didnt have to get like that. Learn patience. Especially when the customer wasnt rude or rushing you around. I was just waiting until she came back around as she and all 3 other baristas were making drinks. Things like that ruin what could have been a great experience. There's no seating, so many are kinda squeezing between eachother or step out then step back in. So, it can be easy to miss your order the 1st announcement. Just empathize with the customer and environment is all. The tray for orders that are ready, I assume, is only for doordash/pick up orders. It might be nice to have another tray if so, sinxe I noticed they put all the drinks literally right behind the tray (maybe as a suggestion, have 1 tray for the orders that are ready so people can grab and go. The names are printed on the cup anyway). Otherwise, it wasnt reachable for me to grab my drink that was ready, so I guess she's got an attitude being inconvenienced or whatever. I may not be back during my next trip to Southern California

I love the staff here. I was able to get my coffee and breakfast wrap before my train arrived. It usually gets very crowded in the mornings, but thankfully it wasn't. I really do love this location. They make you feel welcomed as soon as you walk in. 10/10 ✨

Went to Starbucks after walking from the church to get to the station. I asked for a cup of hot water and could only received it by purchasing an item??? Not quality service nor kindness. As well I was trying to help feed another oatmeal with hot water not knowing how long he had his last meal. SMH.

It’s rare when I drink Starbucks but when I do end up going I always get the pike coffee or a cold brew. Since this Starbucks is inside the union station and that was it for coffee spots on the go, I decided to grab my morning coffee to stay awake for this field trip! The cashier that took my order was very nice and my coffee was great! Place was clean! Overall I had a great experience coming here!

I thought that the whole point of ordering in advance on the app was the too skip the line and not have to wait. I placed my order and the app told me I could be there to pick it up at 6:26 honestly my train comes at 6:30 so I knew it was pushing it but there was no one in the Starbucks and when I arrived they told me my order was ready and of course they only had the coffee ready and told me I had to wait for my egg white bites. I tried to wait but I ended up having to leave and I entirely wasted my money on the egg white bites. I don’t even associate with Starbucks I just knew I needed coffee and breakfast this morning on my way to work. My breakfast should’ve been made with my coffee instead of the ones that were sitting in there getting cold because no one was there to pick it up.

I usually never had an issue with the main store in Union, but recently the new staffs on hand shouldnt be left to handle rush hour orders if they cant fullfill them in time, especially order ahead mobile orders and having to wait longer than reccomanded and almost missing my train in the process
Despite the larger size and more staff, the smaller pick up store at the back of the station are far better and quicker with your order than the ones in the main store

The girl that was working Sunday morning named Sherlyn needs to be talked to about her attitude. Came in about 8:30 and ordered the same drink I’ve been ordering everyday for 20 years. Specified I wanted a tall latte with one pump of caramel sauce. Repeats back the order and says grande with caramel syrup. I said nope, it’s a tall with one pump of caramel sauce. She says do you want drizzle? I said no, just 1 pump of caramel sauce. Take my drink after it was made and it had caramel syrup in it. Came back up to the register and stood there for a minute as she was daydreaming with her head turned. Finally acknowledges me and I said this drink is supposed to have caramel sauce in it and there’s syrup. She then started arguing with me saying she repeated the order back to me (it was more like I repeated it back to her, and multiple times,) and I need to specify exactly what I want and that because I didn’t want drizzle, drizzle is usually with caramel sauce and no caramel is usually with syrup, etc. Is that a rule that if you don’t want drizzle, that you can’t get caramel sauce? I’ve never had any problems before. I wasn’t mad about the mistake, things happen but I was mad that she was arguing with me about every detail. She finally had it remade for me. Lady in front of me was returning her drink too, so something was going on. I just think she could have been nicer about it is all.
