I just want to say that over the last 6+ years I have had so many terrible experiences at this location. However, that seems to have changed. The employees (although some are original) are excellent. They say hello when you walk in (which isn’t necessary imo) but it makes you feel welcomed. They are attentive, they smile, and the genuinely seem to get along which I’m sure helps the work atmosphere and of course how that translates to the customers. I always went back because I like Starbucks so it was sad getting an attitude from old employees who wouldn’t even look at you, they talked back to you and about you. I’m so happy for the change because this a good local spot. The one on hillhurst is ok but the parking isn’t. So, with that said, I just want to say whatever you’re doing keep doing it 🙏🏻

I came in hungry, all scruffy from the beach. I was coated with hello bello from head to toe in my beach clothes outfit. People were warm and friendly on that hot day. I had a relaxing lunch and felt welcome there. Can't wait to go back. Hope everyone is ok. Missing summer.

impolite employees
we’re all going through hard times you don’t have to be rude

Check your cups before selling. Learn how to serve coffee.
Been given bad venti cup, before even drinking the lid popped spilled coffee all over my driver side seat.
Use your brain, check your cups. Who’s going to clean my car? Idiots.

If you’re looking to work or study, this location is completely inconvenient. There are no power outlets for plugging in your computer or iPad, making it impossible to get anything done. Unlike other Starbucks locations, they’ve even sealed off the floor sockets, so you can’t access them at all

Instead of the barista just admitting they made a mistake or didn't hear me clearly, this particular barista is trying to convince me that I didn't mention to add vanilla to my latte. Please lady, I don't have time or energy to convince you on what I said. I KNOW WHAT THE HELL I SAID. If you really don't believe me go watch the cameras if you can pick up audio perfect, it looks like you need some convincing. Don't make me look like a fool, l'll bet on anything I said add vanilla so pleaaaseee don't act like you're incapable of making mistakes..just admit it and put your little ego aside

It is quite big, and there is also a good atmosphere in the cafeteria. This place has the good point that it has an outside terrace

Fresh off the plane in LA, I needed to charge my phone and one would think a Starbucks would be the perfect place to do that, right? But this one is in HOLLYWOOD!!! Therefore, they, by necessity, cover up their power receptacles! In fact, nobody in the neighborhood will let you charge up because then EVERYBODY would crowd the place with non-paying energy-draining vagrants. The glitter falls off Tinseltown pretty quick in this part of town.
