I wanted to save this comment until I got my food but I decided to start now, timing is horrible they’ll tell you 20 mins for a pie boy and fries but really you are going to wait a hour BE PREPARED FOR THAT it’s unprofessional. They don’t look at people they look at order. Food mediocre At best

So I really needed some gumbo. At least 3 people told me they cooked gumbo for New Year’s but didn’t bother saving me any. And when I thought of places to go this was 1st on my list. And was not disappointed. It came hot, seasoned well, spicy, just enough chicken, sausage, shrimp for my taste. I had 3 servings from my large bowl. And completely satisfied my craving!!!

I spend 38 dollars on a little bowl of gumbo to get terrible service. I walk into the location on pico and I am standing there for 5 to 7 min and I start to think I am a ghost. No hello, no we will be right with you nothing. I get the cashiers attention and she is giving me attitude about my pick up. I dont know if im ever coming back here.

My family really from new orleans out that 8th ward and i dont be expecting much when i got to new orleans restaurants in other places but man that gumbo tasted just like i was in my grandma kitchen. I damn near forgot i was on the other side of the country

I love, love, love this place. I have eaten here 3 times. The food is amazing, the staff is attentive and kind, great service overall. King crab Mac n cheese is amazing as is the gumbo, chicken wings, chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, and shrimp Étouffée. Don’t forget sweet tea and warm beignets for dessert! I will be back with even more family and friends next time.

Idk why I keep trying to come here as if this is Jefferson and Crenshaw they women can be ride if your not light enough I stood in line for I don’t know how long asked a question still stood there and as soon as a light make walks in the other register works and the same female I asked a question was willing to take his order made and excuse snickered perusal. I walked out before and shouldn’t have returned I actually purchased one item just to see if I were tripping about the vibe and nope I’m right the last time it was crowded this time it wasn’t my judgement was spot on
