Stevie’s Creole Cafe brings deeply authentic, soulful Creole cuisine to Los Angeles with an undeniable reputation—especially for gumbo that critics and patrons alike hail as the best west of New Orleans. Its family-driven heritage and bold flavors make it a standout. While the environment is casual and compact, it feels heartfelt and welcoming. Perfect for comfort food lovers craving red beans and rice, jambalaya, or smoky fried chicken in a tight-knit, community-focused setting.
This was a great random find just outside of the busy street of fairfax. We came here because we couldn’t find parking on the main street and it was so much easier here. Great food, music, and clean inside. The customer service slacks a lot, no personality or greetings besides “Hello, welcome” but the food makes up for it. Next time I’ll just order Togo and enjoy my meal at home.
