cool little place, order inside the bar. the bar has an interesting vibe: dive bar feel with thai knick-knacks scattered around accompanying regular dive bar decor. nothing really to complain about - good food at a cool little spot

Very average food . I am so used to the Altadena Mija restaurant which is the best I have had besides in Thailand . Not flavorful , rhr green curry , fried rice , , chicken date - we terrible peanut sauce . Hmm, they may have to lean into Mija in Altadena a lot more for lessons . Oh well, gave them 3 tries .

Been eating here since it first opened several years ago. Inconsistent quality unfortunately, because when the food is done well, it’s great. Eg. Some days the Pad Thai is flavorful, comes with fantastic pickles, tender meat. Other days the noodles are not fully cooked, lacking in sauce, no pickles or peanuts - seems rushed or like they forgot to finish garnishing the food.

Also a warning for takeout - the containers have been changed to a much thinner plastic so hot soups will spill out since the lid warps from the heat.

Seems hit or miss - depending on your luck.

Horrible experience today 12/11/2024 at 7PM. I first ordered Khao Soi with chicken, something I do once a month. It’s usually perfect. I got home, started to heat my Khao Soi and saw there was no chicken. I poured the khao soi out of my pot and back into the take out container and drove back.

I arrived, they apologized and gave me new Khao Soi curry cup now with chicken. Good!

But then i drive home, heat it again and add the noodle mixture which is all wrong, comes with mushrooms, carrots and all these other veggies that have never been in one of my Khao Soi meals, EVER! Sure, whoever ever complains about getting extra veggies - but I really hate mushrooms, and this just isnt what I asked for! They didnt even come with those pickled peppers they usually come with, or whatever that green/yellow thing is called.

So i drove back AGAIN, and told the same employee - and he straight up lies and says the khao soi always comes with mushrooms and carrots, etc and I tell him “no, that’s not true. The menu doesn’t even list mushrooms or carrots in the order. The guy never apologized for having me drive back a second time or for lying to my face about the khao soi always having mushrooms, just gave me another order of noodles and then I had to ask him for another thing of curry - since i had already merged my noodles w it. So frustrating. Driving home for a 3rd time now and hoping everything is correct.

Tiny portion and greasy! The rice doesn't even fill up the box like usual. There were an unappetiizing amount of poorly cut onions overpowering the dish. For $20 out the door, I expect the high quality and fresh taste that Sticky Rice usually has. This is the second time that they ruined my Vegetable Thai Fried Rice by not having the ingredients and just serving this subpar dish. Seems like they run out of veggies and in this case rice and just throw together whatever, instead of removing the sold out dishes from the online ordering.

Highly dissatisfied. After a long day of filming, I thought I'd treat myself so this was beyond disappointing. Even worse, I picked up my order at about 10.30pm, so it was too late to get a decent meal any where else.

I had a terrible and acute stomach ache after eating Tom Kha from here. Was it because of shrimp, soup, or rice? I don’t know. I used to go this place many times in the past but never had a problem but something was not right yesterday. Sticky rice was really hard and not edible. Not only that, it was really pricey. I’m so dissatisfied and disappointed. I will never go back there.

Save your money and go to an authentic Thai place. This spot's thai food is EXTREMELY underwhelming, not to much mention expensive for the food you get. I ordered summer rolls and the peanut sauce was frozen, they forgot to put any tofu in it (which it's supposed to come with) and the lettuce tasted genuinely like dirt and I'm not exaggerating. I'm scared I'm going to be sick from it tasting unwashed...I don't leave reviews often and genuinely don't want to be a Karen about it, but I had such a poor experience here that I felt compelled to tell others to steer clear. Seriously, not worth it! So many better, more affordable, more authentic Thai spots nearby.

Hip interior with food and full bar. They often have cool events and concerts on weekends.

This is not thai food. The spicy is not spicy. There were very little noodles in the drunken noodles. No taste of fish sauce at all. And they forgot our appetizer so it came out at the end. My partner didn't finish his food and that is not him at all. Will not go back and I don't recommend anyone else does either.

Every order our food is wildly inconsistent - sometimes to the point of being inedible. At this point I’d rather order from places that are slightly more mediocre with consistency - especially for the price being charged. It sucks so hard to waste your money on a place that used to be so good!

Woman behind the bar was the only nice thing about this experience. Ordered two bowls, one came out in 5mins the other was their chicken and rice and took 40mins. After it came out the rice was literally a rock and inedible. I asked the bartender if that was normal and she said absolutely not, offered some new rice and a comped drink but sadly the second rice was also just as hard. The chicken was great but man for a place named sticky rice, that was incredibly disappointing and left me wondering which part of a rice and chicken bowl took 40mins to prepare.
