The vibe and the wine were good, but the food was highly overpriced and frankly mediocre. Seems like a place more for wine than food. Also, we felt very rushed even though they weren’t busy.

Fabulous dinner here. Fresh ingredients prepared with unusual flavor combinations. The vibe was warm and welcoming, cool without trying to be cool. Fantastic Austrian natural wine. Absolutely delicious pork collar that was so tender. Offbeat and delicious beet and strawberry dessert. Can’t wait to go back here

Positives: Tasty and reasonably priced food, lengthy and eclectic wine list, cute interior

Negatives: surly service, 30 min wait for our table with no updates unless we chased them up, outside seating area was chaotic (noise, smoking, poor set up)

The only reason worth trekking to Melrose. You can order the entire menu here and can’t go wrong. Stand out dishes are the anchovies, celery salad, and crudo’s. They slice their meat in house - the iberico ham is perfect. The place itself is so sweet. The staff are incredible - from the cooks to the service, everyone is so kind and welcoming. Christain is the best! Every time I leave I look forward to coming back.

Excellent service, great wine selection, the food was surprisingly expensive, especially given how small the plates are. (Think $4 per bacon-date, $30+ for a few oz of pork.) Came in with a group of four, everyone left hungry having each spent $100+, and we finished the night down the street at California Chicken Cafe.

Beautiful small plates with a modern Italian feel complete with natural wines, served in a cosy and friendly environment – perfectly executed! Definitely hit it!

The patio was frigid as was the service. Cold night and the server claimed that all of their heat lamps weren’t working due to recent rain in the city. Requested that we be moved to an open table that would have been warmer / protected from the elements. This was denied and the warm table went unused for nearly the full hour we were there. Server was generally unfriendly throughout the meal and ended the night by throwing our check down onto the table - bizarre behavior as we were polite/easygoing through all of this. Food was fine but completely unremarkable. Perhaps just an off night across the board, but someone else in the reviews claims their food is pre-made and reheated - I wouldn’t be surprised if that were true.

Extremely overpriced. The food is equivalent to airplane food. I have gone twice in an attempt to let them redeem themselves since I live nearby. We ordered the bread and butter, crudo, dates, onion dip and ratatouille. It’s all very mediocre and way too expensive. I also left stinking of old cooked meats which is only acceptable when having Korean bbq, not this mediocre plane food! Everything needed seasoning and the staff was too busy pushing more wine and desserts to notice the food was beyond disappointing.
