I don't ever leave reviews, but this was so bad that I could not skip it this time. Everything on the menu is $13 plus tax. That's not the issue here, although even if this meal were $5 I still wouldn't get it. I ordered the red beef curry bowl and I truly wish I could get a refund. There was barely any beef in this bowl; it was all rice and the beef made a 1 inch by 2 inch cameo. There was zero, and I mean ZERO flavor. It was spicy in the sense that it was hot, but besides pure heat there was nothing flavoring this meal. There was NO SAUCE and this whole plate was just oily- the rice was even soggy from it. There were 3 stale, sad french fries included in this bowl that made me wonder if it was added on accident. There were small sprinkles of lettuce and shredded carrots included, and 6 thin slices of cucumber that tasted like they had been sitting out to dry all day.

Additionally, I am not sure if this is because I'm lighter skinned than the guy ordering before me, but I noticed the staff treated me nicer than him. The lady taking orders legit was about to put in his beef noodles request as a fried chicken sandwich. How do those sound anything alike 😐. She smiled when helping me and the white girls behind me, but seemed bothered when she was dealing with the two male customers of tan complexion. All over weird vibes.

Do not spend your money here unless you enjoy being disappointed.

The garlic deluxe fries and Thai tea were delicious and the service was really nice and understanding. I would say the food is somewhat overpriced though

Paid US$20 for this at the LA convention centre. Tastes nothing like mee goreng, and the chicken is basically fried flour. A total rip-off and would’ve skipped this on hindsight, even if it were half the price.

Im Indonesian, and the Food was HORRIBLE. The owners are ignorant and made a RACIST gesture and never apologized.

The business partner (Tom, caucasian guy with a beard) did not ask our ethnicity and he assumes that my gf is japanese and said "ARIGATO GOZAIMASU" and bow to us when we are not even japanese. That is racist and should not be tolerated! I even DM the owner, Justin, and he sees nothing wrong with Tom's action and even compared it to saying thank you to american? How can someone be so ignorant nowadays. He blocked me and did not apologize at all.

In addition, the food is so bad, my beef curry is
swimming in oil and the chicken sandwich is
dry as a cardboard. Save your money and dont support this racist business.

Had their Lemongrass fired chicken with garlic noodles and the food was not terrible nor will it blow your mind. The cost was 14 bucks plus tax, but it was an average sized bowl. First time trying Indonesian food but, I wish I could give them a 3.5 starts. I would only go if you are in the mood to try something different. Definitely have had worse. (Food truck btw)

I don't know if I just got unlucky, but I don't know how anyone can say this is good. I got it as a food truck at the LA Auto show and had the chicken sandwich, beef plate, beef sandwich, and garlic noodle bowl. Everything was just amazingly bland and lacked any kind of distinctive flavor that made it Indonesian other than the noodles. Heck it even lacked salt and sugar. The beef literally was unseasoned and tasted like me just cooking some beef at home with an instant pot with just a bit of soy sauce. The chicken sandwich was no better than chick fil a but it cost $16. The fries were terribly dry like day old McDonald's fries. And the Coco coffee honestly just sucked and tasted like coffee with spoiled sour milk in it. Worst of all it took 20 minutes to order and another 25 minutes to get my food. It was "wish I could have gotten a refund" bad.

At the Anime Expo, and was excited to try Indo inspired food. Ordered their lemongrass chicken and garlic noodle bowl with a Thai Iced tea. In a word, bland. The only flavor I could taste was from the vinegar based hot sauce. No garlic flavor to the noodles. The chicken must have been seasoned by waving a stalk of lemongrass at it. Thai tea is watered down and has no kick of flavor. Overall, disappointing. I was hoping for a kick flavor, or something. It got the job done, I’m not hungry, but that’s about it.

Fine scene for delicious Asian food. I like it here, great food & service. The prices are good for what you get. I see why this place has a lot of positive reviews.
