Nice place for late dinner. Yakisoba is good, but ramen is just ok.

Last min dinner so they ran out of sashimi which was a bummer but everything else we had was exceptional. Gotta come back for more

Great eatery! Administration was on top of it. The food was served rapidly and was totally delightful. The curry helped me to remember my grandma's, and that is something troublesome to do. I would return once more.

I got myself the House Special with Tofu - the eggplant was flavorful, tofu soft and rice perfectly cooked. The choice of ice cream is a great desert accompaniment, but the Black Sesame Mont Blanc ice cream was even better and IMO a fairly unique offering. Some of the best veggie Japanese food I've had so far, thanks.Staff were great and very helpful too!

I like it. It was a nice little cozy spot a little hole in the wall oh, not much to look at. But when it came down to it the service was excellent. Greeted with a smile, is that down immediately. The waiters there were very friendly and helpful. As for the food, it was cooked in an ample amount of time. Everything was satisfying oh, the kids even loved it. And the price was not bad at all for the amount of food that was served here. Recommend if looking for a quiet place to dine in, with some great food.

Cute little cafe setting with delicious, well seasoned dishes. My only complaint is the waitress brought the ice cream that came with my meal while I was still eating. The karage is bomb!

I ordered the hamburgu steak. It's okay. Meat taste good. Corn and fries..... carb & carb... really hope I can get some broccoli or any veggie. Great place to visit. Like the traditional family dinner theme here. Will come try other items on the menu next time.

Ordered the Okonomi Plate with broiled Saba, gyoza (meat), and over easy eggs. For the appetizer, For the appetizer, I had the shishito peppers. They were nice. Everything was good, nothing out of the ordinary. The best part was the vibe. Oh, the next best thing was the little note at the bottom of the QR Code Menu, "Sorry, no sushi rolls or raw fish stuff"! Ha ha, this was a hoot. It was crowded, so I didn't want to ask a lot of questions. My biggest questions was what was the white, creamy stuff on my plate? I was reluctant, but I tasted it, and it was some good ole tater salad with a bit of green onion and egg! Once I tasted the potato salad, it all made sense. This is a Japanese soul food spot. Comfort food in a homey and quaint environment. Reminds me of a Japanese version of the Serving Spoon in Inglewood. It attracts a multigenerational population--there were an 80-something year old elderly Japanese couple, a group of 3 Latina women with 2 small kids, a group of Asian 20-somethign year olds, 2 middle aged men, a cute mixed, young couple, a guy in a wheelchair with his family, some older, dressed up Asian ladies who looked like they were coming from a conference--all ages, ethnicities... My server was a no nonsense, but polite Japanese little sista with Beyonce baby hairs! The other server was a cute young guy walking around, very efficient, with his shoulders kind of curled, like a brotha, ijs. And then what do I hear in the background? Rap music -- unedited... But it was all good; actually, it was great. The older people couldn't hear it, kids couldn't detect it, but I'm sure it caught the attention of the 20-somethings, and that's what added to the Japanese soul food cafe vibe. But the best part of my entire experience--the best... Drum roll, please... The bathroom! I had to use it when I came in, and thought, I don't want to ruin my appetite, so I will hold it until I finish eating. But I thought, let me just grin and bear it, so I can relax... To my surprise, this bathroom was absolutely spotless and had no foul smell! I went into the gender neutral bathroom. There was no urine on the toilet or floor, balled up wet, disintegrating skid-marked tissues floating on the floor; I won't go on, but everything I expected in the powder room of a small cafe was naught. Then I saw on the wall, a cleaning schedule! There was a little thingy underneath with a lace doily holding scented spray. Not only that, I came out and realized there was a little sitting area so people aren't standing and waiting to use the restroom. As busy as these folks are, they still make sure that the restroom is clean and presentable for the customers. The potato salad, "no raw fish stuff", baby hairs, low playing rap music, and clean bathroom--oh yeah, and the yummy food--is why this place gets 5 stars from me.

The seemed to struggle to cook for 4 people. Ordered with my wife, my food arrived…15 minutes later her udon arrived. The table behind us was still waiting for anything they ordered. The chicken Katsu wasn’t hot when it got to me, nor was are gyzo. Perhaps because the staff was busy talking behind the counter?Would not recommend when there are so many better places in the area. My mistake for trying something new.
