So excited and proud Sugarbird finally has a storefront. My family and I have followed Chef & Owner Kei since it first started and only had regular priority mail delivery and pickup from a co-op location in Downtown LA. I stopped by after the Montrose Farmers Market, where Sugarbird was before and I believe still is for other Farmers Markets, and Kei herself was managing the store. She was nice and really excited to finally have her own storefront. I got a free tea, free clotted cream, the tea sandwich set, six scones (ube, lemon blueberry, matcha, fig & rosemary, passionfruit & earl grey) and shortbread cookies.

I’ve always wanted to try Sugarbird’s scones! I coincidentally saw them at my local Bristol’s Farm and decided to pick them up. I got a pack of 4 mini Lemon Blueberry Scones ($8). I was slightly disappointed at how dry and stale they were. Perhaps they were sitting out for a little while.. but the sell by date was 3 more days from the day I picked it up. I did warm them up a little but they still had a very noticeable staleness to them. Aside from the dryness, they tasted okay. A little bit on the saltier side I would say. I detected no lemon flavor, and blueberries were a scant. Overall they were a little underwhelming… but this experience won’t preclude me from trying them again another time. I know getting them from the grocery store probably doesn’t compare to getting it fresh from the business. I definitely won’t go actively pursuing them anymore especially given the price, but I hope I get the opportunity to taste them at there best, one day.

Love the decor in this coffee shop. All the little details in the shop tell a story. It's very unique and COZY. I've been here twice and had the coconut coffee and egg waffles. The egg waffles took a bit longer to make, but it was FRESH out of the oven so it was worth the extra couple of minutes! Great service with a SMILE.

I highly recommend sugarbird sweets for any special occasion. We had a little mishap regarding the delivery but the owner could not have done more to make it up to me. In an age when good customer service is practically non-existent this shop is a 10 out of 10. A beautiful tea party in a box. The food was delicious and the presentation was second to none. I will definitely be ordering again!!

We needed a catered afternoon tea type service. They were very helpful in helping us get the right order and the food was plentiful and delicious! We ordered the medium scones/sandwiches set up and there was more food than the 8 of us could eat.

Dry bread. Really dry. We ordered these and I must say the packaging is great. But when it comes to tea sandwiches the bread is make or break. And these were hard to eat because the bread was a complete fail.

Ordered the Valentine's set with wheat free scone options. Took some time, but finally realized I could post a review even if I haven't physically been there.I am not fond of wheat free options for the most part, but have made the effort to support my girlfriend when she is limiting her intake. Because I knew she would love the package offered, I decided to give it a chance. These were some of the BEST scones I've had! And yes, that is generally speaking!The care taken when packaging and delivering the set was incredible. I had anxiety about it's condition because it had to travel a significant distance and (I assumed) would likely get soggy, but the bread was still soft and airy.The tea I chose was one of the herbal selections called the Fiona (Rooibos tea with raspberry and vanilla flavors). It was fantastic with just a touch of sugar to compliment the flavor profile, and the aroma alone was enough to help soothe and relax.I couldn't be happier with the quality of service and products. Hoping to order again some time soon!

My husband and I ordered the Valentine’s Day tea. Everything was delicious, carefully packaged, and arrived on time. The Sugarbird Sweets and Tea team included everything you need and lovingly wrapped the food in a beautiful scarf. My mom, son and I get high tea at least once a year. This year, however, my parents moved out of statue and COVID. We ordered high tea delivered and celebrated together virtually. The food was wonderful, they even provided a “3-tier stand” and we were able to indicate who we were celebrating with and what day. I highly recommend Sugarbird Sweets & Tea!

I ordered the afternoon tea sets for my moms birthday and I cannot say enough good things about the entire experience. The owner is super helpful and the level of detail from the packaging to the food is so unique and thoughtful. The food was so fresh and delicious!! This was better than going to tea at a tea house. The scones were our favorite, great flavors and very moist! The sandwiches were delicious too and there was plenty of food to go around with the shortbread and macarons as a nice dessert. Everyone loved the tea as well. I highly recommend using this service if you would like to host an event. You have everything you need including the three tiered stand!
