Five stars. Back when I lived in Brentwood in 2023, Sugarfish was my go-to. I usually ordered takeout, but the few times I dined in, the service was just as impressive as the food. Always fresh, always consistent—truly top-tier sushi.

It was incredibly delicious!

Unfortunately there is no table reservation and we waited for about 50 minutes (evening Sunday), we were celebrating a birthday, so it was a bit awkward.

Big fan of this location. My wife and I have eaten here twice now (dine in and takeout). Both experiences have been excellent and the food is high quality. Most importantly, customer service is always friendly and consistent.

Probably the best rice from any of the sushi places I have ever been to. It's legitimately amazing.

Their fish is also awesome and melts in your mouth. This is probably the best quality to price sushi restaurant I know of!

Do not do take out. Eat it there for the best experience and get the Trust Me or the Nozawa

The warm rice makes this sushi stand out. I love how the menu is designed so you get all of the best items. The hand rolls are absolutely fabulous. The vibe inside the restaurant is pretty chill.

Trendy local sushi outlet that caters to an omakase style / uniquely branded TrustMe sets.

We had these recommended sets last June 2024 and were surprised by many of the innovative twists to the diahes from their slightly warm sushi rice and the special type of rice used.

The service was up to standard and prompt

The place is much like other sushi bars which is often tight and limited in seating

Expect queues during peak times and dining is at a first come first served basis.

Best for quick eats and small groups.

Vegetarian options: Mainly sushi based dining

Parking: Limited shared parking lot at the front with other establishments in the complex

Kid-friendliness: Very limited menu for children

Wheelchair accessibility: Tight interiors and seating

Hostesses are so unnecessarily rude. Totally understand the business of an establishment due to popularity but a little niceness would go such a long long way! :)

Love Sugarfish! Omakase is fab, but so is ordering from the menu. Salmon nigiri and lobster roll are my favs. There’s a small parking lot right in front too.

We ordered the ‘Nozawa Trust Me’, every item was tasty and did not disappoint. The tuna sashimi lives in my head rent free. It was served fresh with impeccable quality. Food was the perfect amount, not too much and not too little. I would definitely comeback for this specific dining experience.

The first thing that struck me is place seems to be frequented by only the most beautiful people on the Friday I went to pick up a late lunch. The “Trust Me” is a stroke of genius. I didn’t have to think and the first was amazing.
