i love this place so much and find it to be a comparable alternative to legendary han bat a few blocks away. cant beat the prices here and i appreciate having an affordable soup option in the area.
i get takeout pretty regularly. you can call and order and typically takes about 5-10 mins for them to get it ready

I had tripe hotpot and it was actually better than any restaurant I’ve eaten in Korea!! The portions are ridiculously generous and really, really delicious!! It’s the most delicious in LA!!
The owner and staff are very friendly, and I really hope it runs for a long time!!

Loved this little restaurant and the sweet lady who took care of us. Even though we were not regulars, nor did we speak Korean, we got the same banchan as everyone else 😉🙌 It wasn't very busy when we arrived around 11am but it soon got bustling. The side dishes were all delicious! The kimchi was just how I liked it, not super fresh but not sour, just the right amount of kimchii funk 😁 I was a little disappointed that they didn't have their Mul Nengmyung availble (it's a summer diah) but I was happy with my Galbi Tang with light and tasty clear broth. The brisket seolleongtang which was on special, seemed to have a thicker, richer broth than the oxtail seolleongtang. At almost a third of the price, it was the winning dish with fantasic cospa and amazing taste! Will definitely visit again the next time I'm in town 😋

I should have taken photos but we were craving clear soup broth and Sulga House delivered. Soup as delicious and flavorful, and clean. For 5 of us, we had oxtail soup, galbitang (short rib), knee cap soup, bimbimbap, and seafood pancake. It was just right and we finished everything.

When I came on a trip, I ate Ugeoji Galbitang (the soup was clean and not greasy) and Seolleongtang, and they were so delicious. Every side dish is delicious.

i came here sad af. they took care of me tonight in a way that made me feel like it was a hug from my mom. the food felt like a hug from my mom. maybe they read it on my face when i walked in. korean aunties are wayyyy better at knowing than the CIA.
i walked in with tears and walked out drenched and showered in 정. how can strangers be so kind?
정말 힘들 때 와서 너무 잘 먹고 갑니다. 참 감사합니다.
